PART 14 - THE REALIZATION

Its Wednesday and I am back with the next update 🙂🙂🙂. My sincere apologies for the delay as I was caught up with work.

To say the Sonakshi and Reena were shocked would have been an understatement at that moment. While Reena's thought went back to the day when she met them. Sonakshi was altogether in a different world, she thought back to all the moments she spent with them more so with Dev and how all these days she did not know about his identity, though she still did not know how Dev was related to MYSTIQUE AIRLINES his presence now at a time of crisis indicated that he was someone very important and add to that the presence of Avni was just adding to her confusion.

On the other hand, the situation with Dev was no different, seeing Sonakshi's expressions he could exactly gauge what was going through her mind. He was in a turmoil, on one was his friend who slowly but surely was becoming more than that and had an important place in his heart and life but on the other side he was also the MD of the airlines and if the situation demanded he needed to take some harsh decisions. Everyone was standing quietly when Avni broke the silence.

"Good evening everyone, why don't we settle down" she said as everyone quickly settled down on their seats. Apart from Dev, Sonakshi, Avni, Christo and Reena there were two more people in the room who were a part of the cabin crew on the flight on which the incident occurred. One was Gauri, the cabin Manager and another was Payal, a flight attendant.

"Well, I guess everyone knows why we are here but before that let us quickly introduce ourselves" said Avni pointing towards herself, Dev and Christo.

"I am Avni Rastogi, the marketing head as well as the head of Women's Cell at MYSTIQUE. He is Mr. Christo Fernandes, the Public Relations & Communication head. And this is Mr. DEV DIXIT, the Managing Director of MYSTIQUE AIRLINES" said Avni.

The moment Sonakshi heard that her mind went into a tizzy, DEV.... No.... HER DEV.... YES.... HER DEV.... was the MD of MYSTIQUE. She finally acknowledged what her heart was indicating to her for the past few days. It was funny how life worked. Here she was caught in a situation which could very well signal the end of her dream job if things went against her yet it was the moment she realized her LOVE. She did not know how to react. Should she be happy or sad, joyful or fearful, laugh or cry. It seemed that every possible emotion was running through her at that moment as tears made way out of her eyes.

"Ms. Sonakshi Bose, are you fine?" asked Dev, he did not miss the tears in her eyes as everyone looked towards her.

Dev's voice seemed to have broken her trance as she quickly wiped her tears and said "Yes De...I mean Sir. I am fine" as she faked a smile while Dev replied, "You can call me Dev" while everyone looked on.

"Before starting the meeting let me assure everyone about one thing. If you are not in the wrong, then the Airlines will go to any extent to protect you guys but if there was any mistake on your part we would want you to confess it right away before we get to the crux of it else the repercussions will not be favorable for you as well as for the Airlines and that is something which I cannot stand. So, Guys all we want is an honest answer and each detail of the incident that had occurred. Is that clear?" spoke Dev in a no-nonsense tone as everyone nodded in agreement, for Sonakshi it was the first time she saw him speak in such a way but then every time she talked to him or met him was as a friend never as the MD of the largest Airlines in Asia.
