"WHAT WAS DEV DOING HERE SO LATE IN THE NIGHT SONAKSHI?"

As soon as Reena said that the color drained of Sonakshi's face, never had she expected Reena to ask her that question. She looked like a lost deer in the headlights.

"You did not answer me Sonakshi, what was Dev doing here?" asked Avni once again as Sonakshi tried to compose herself and replied "What...What are you saying Reena? Why would Dev be here? And even if he is here how would I know?" she asked trying to sound confident though inside she was dying due to nervousness.

"That's because I have exactly seen what played out between you two just a few minutes back Sonakshi. So, it would be better if you clearly tell me instead of going roundabout" she said, the staidness in her voice clearly visible.

Sonakshi by now realized that Reena must have seen them when Dev had come to drop her, and she understood that there was no point hiding it from Reena, so she decided to tell it but before she could speak she heard Reena speak in a loud voice "How could you Sonakshi? How could you do that?" as Sonakshi looked at her in surprise unable to understand the reason for her question as well as the loud voice.

"Reena, what are you talking about?" she asked in a surprised voice as Reena replied in an instant "You both, I mean you and Dev are in a relationship right?" she asked as the stunned look on Sonakshi's face confirmed Reena's doubt. While Sonakshi on the other hand was flabbergasted, her friend and colleague knew about them.

"Ree...Reena...Let me...Let..." stammered Sonakshi but Reena interrupted her "Your stammer clearly indicates that my doubt is true. How could you do it Sonakshi? I had started liking Dev and I feel even he had started liking me. In fact, I had started loving him Sonakshi. How could you do this to me Sonakshi?" she spoke in an angry tone and turned away sniffing.

To say that Sonakshi was shocked would have been an understatement, she could never believe that her colleague and best friend at work was in love with the same person, tears threatened to spill from her eyes as Reena slowly turned to look at Sonakshi whose face had by now reddened, tears glistening in her eyes. But the very next moment Reena started laughing loudly.

"Hahaha....Oh my god...Haha...Just look at your face Sonakshi...Haha. It's as if you have seen a ghost and you will start crying any moment...Haha" she said laughing confusing Sonakshi as Reena moved towards her, pulling her cheeks she said "I was just joking my dear" she said but the very next moment Sonakshi started running behind her to hit her, she never expected her to play such a prank on her. After running around the room for a few moments both fell on the bed tired as Sonakshi spoke.

"You idiot, you scared me son much, how cruel of you" she said as Reena replied "Well Darling, you deserve it from hiding such a big news from me" as Sonakshi smiled in relief while Reena continued "Now tell me everything from the start about your relationship without skipping a detail" she said as Sonakshi started telling her about her relationship with Dev.

"Oh my God Sona, So much has happened and you never told me" said Reena, seemingly upset she turned her face away as Sonakshi came before her and held her ears "I am sorry, but I needed to be sure before telling it to anyone" she said as Reena nodded in agreement and said "Hmm..but I am not letting you off so easily. I need a treat from both of you" she spoke as Sonakshi smiled and agreed. After chatting for some more time they retired for the night, ready for the dawn of the new day.
