Daisy's P.O.V
Bang.
Just like that.
It's amazing how such sudden things can change your life in such a drastic way. A brief moment of impact, and nothing will ever be the same. It's truly incredible.
The tiniest movement ever, just a small amount of pressure, and your entire life flashes before your eyes.
Although that's the part that confused me. I didn't see my entire life. I only saw the short time I had with him. That was the only life I wanted to ever live.
In that moment, when everything is replaying through your mind, you realize just how good you had it. Most people see that they have taken things for granted. This was the one thing I would never do.
Oblivion of the best things in life can certainly be the death of you. But as you see everything laid out in front of you, there's one special image. It could be an act of love, or kindness, but either way, it goes to quick to savor.
It disappears as a shooting star would, like a fleeting glimpse of eternity, and in a flash, it's all gone, and you wonder if you'll ever get another chance.
Another chance to make more moments like that one, so when your time really does come, you won't regret a thing.
