Daisy's P.O.V
"Do you want to wait out here?" I asked Joey. "No. I'm coming with you. And if I see that Dustin kid I'm going-" I interrupted "Your not going to do anything, because I'm a big girl. I can handle my own problems. Now wait out here" I squeezed his hand a little.
"Hey Daisy" I heard Dustin say as he walked over to us. Right as he approached, Joey pulled me into a kiss. I knew what he was doing, and I didn't like it. But his lips were so soft, I had to kiss back. When he tried adding tongue, I pulled away and cleared my throat.
"Hi. Dustin" I said as Joey wrapped his arm around my shoulder. "Hey. Im Dustin. Nice to meet you" Dustin stuck out his hand for Joey to shake. As they shook hands, I could blatantly see the tension, and how hard they were gripping each others hands.
"Yeah I'm going to get my things now" I ripped Joeys arm off of me, and stormed off. I can't believe he did that. I mean it was like he was trying to claim me as his territory to Dustin or something. He might as well lift his leg and pee on me like a dog.
I get that he wants to protect me and all that junk, but I can take care of myself. If I let others try and protect me, I will just get soft. If I get soft, then life will shit me out dead with zero warning. That's not happening. I am not going down without a fight.
"Ah! Daisy your here!" Lori said as she walked up to me, handing me a folder with my name on it. "Fill out these papers and bring them in on Thursday" and with that, she walked away. I have one day to fill this out, which is a decent amount of time for me considering I like to do things right away.
Joeys P.O.V
"Daisy told me what you did. And I don't think you should treat a woman that way" I said to Dustin as soon as Daisy walked off. I was trying not to cause a problem, but what he did was completely out of line.
"You better mind your own business fairy boy. Your only making things worse for your pretty little girl. Speaking of which, she won't be yours for long." He coldly remarked and strutted back to the counter that girl Haley was standing behind.
