Lots of Dialogue

It didn't look at all how I imangined it. The place was huge, and the walls of the cabin where colored brilliant, sunny type yellow. The floor was a cream colored marble, cut into tiles. The ceiling was at least 15 feet high. Wooded beds streched across the entire room, some made nice and neatly while others had blankets and pillows tossed everywhere. On the walls near the habited beds, posters where hung up to the owners liking with their possessions were scattered all over place. Book selves took up almost all of the wall I was facing, and on closer examination you could see that they where all medical books. Right in the middle of the room was also a big ass statute of the person who apparently was my farther. Most importantly, the whole place was empty.

"Home sweet home my friend," exclaims Izzy from behind me, "Like it?"

"Well um...quite the opposite of what I thought honestly"

"Haha true, to be honest I've been jelous of this cabin since I got here. My cabin is just to girly in my opinion. So much freaking pink..."

I let loose a little laugh, "I don't see what's wrong with pink."

"Well try being surrounded by it 24/7 and see how you like it," She sighs.

She gains another little laugh from me, "Who the hell is your godly parent if your cabin is all pink?"

"The legion of all terror, great and powerful, cause of all nightmares...Aphordite!" She makes little fangs with her fingers and crosses her eyes.

"You mean that fashion lady?"

"Yep. The basic bitch of anicent  Greece. Goddess of love and beauty." She jokes then then coughs akwardly. "Yeah, still kinda feels weird to say. Haven't gotten used to the lingo here yet..."

It takes me a few a couple moments to register what she says. This girl seems one of a kind. "You mean your new here too?"

"Pretty much, been here for a 2-3 months"

Surprise takes me back. She seems so much more accepting and understanding of this place for only being here for such a limited amount of time. I don't think I'll ever get used to it.

Apparently she senses my reaction and speaks up. "The universe was basically like 'Hey, you enjoying your life? Doing alright? So ya wanna totally get your life's screwed over? No? Great. Your dead mother is a goddess, have fun you little dissapointment'"

A smile comes across my face for a briefest of seconds then disappears. Izzy seems to take notice and looks up at me with her blue eyes full of concern. "Hey, you okay? Wanna talk about it?"

Spikes of alert tingles on my back telling me not to trust her and that I barely know her. "I'm fine, don't worry about it," I tell her.

She doesn't say anything but concern was clearly on her face. "The rest of your siblings should be here in a little bit from archery practice. I have to rush over to the stables though. Its are cabins chore today." She makes a act of pinching her nose at imanginary horse poop.

"Wow okay, you go clean that horse crap for me while I sit in in the huge room all by myself," I joke.

"You know, we could always trade if you like"

"Hahaha, how 'bout no"

"Well suck it up buttercup! I'm leaving!" She says and walks straight out the door.

To be honest, the medical book just weren't cutting. I was bored out of my mind. I also needed to pee, but had no clue where the bathroom was. Izzy seemed to forget about the little part of my 'tour'. She wasn't really good at her job at all. I sigh heavily and shut the book with a loud snap.
