Harry had a slight bounce in his feet, it was amazing how tightly Draco had him wrapped around his finger but Harry truly didn't care. It felt like Harry was falling deeper and harder with each passing second. He was just glad Draco felt the same. Waddling into their room, Draco sat leaned against the bed rest on Harry's bed with a condescending look plastered over his pale face that churned Harry's stomach.

"Draco, what's -" "What's wrong? Oh, wouldn't you like to know, Potter." Draco snarled as Harry inched closer, making him halt. Harry frowned, what was happening? "Don't you think I'd catch on? Or oh wait, was I so dumb that you thought you could fool me twice! I know you don't like me, Potter, I can feel it coursing in my veins. And I can't bloody comprehend why you'd be so cruel as to lead me on like this!" Draco shouted, his veins popping out of his strained neck as his voice shattered Harry's heart.

"Is that what you think?" Harry said so softly, so softly it was a mere gust of wind, a mere breath that he took. Draco's eyes widened, his rage brewed as each word dropped out of Harry's lips like shit. Not only was his ego gone, now so was his pride as Draco tiredly dragged himself to his own bed.

"I'm too tired to deal with your jokes, Potter. Let's face it, no one likes me and no one ever will." Draco grumbles bitterly as he wrapped himself in his sheets. Why would anybody? The only glorious thing was his last name and now it was buried six feet underground. Anger engulfed Harry as he hears each word seep into his head, no body likes Draco? What a joke! Harry's whole existence was being invalidated here.

"No one will ever like you? So I'm no body?" Harry pulled Draco back up into a sitting position as fury brewed in him. Slamming his lips against Draco's soft ones, he pulled Draco into a deep, sweet kiss. Slowly, his anger mellowed out into bitterness, just like Draco's. "I like you, Draco and I don't understand why you don't think I do." Harry sighed, resting his forehead against Draco's.

"Why would you though?" Draco mumbled, still tasting Harry on the tip of his tongue. If he had to describe Harry's taste in one word, it would be melancholy. A bittersweet taste, a taste you can never forget but a taste you'll never regret. Harry gently rubbed Draco's cheek with his thumb, his thumb was like sandpaper against smooth clay.

"I don't know, and... that's okay. I like your smile, I like your voice, I like your smell, I like you and nothing's ever going to change that." Harry gently pecked Draco's rosy cheeks. Draco was a big softie, a bigger softie than Harry would ever dream to expect. Draco smelled like roses and pine trees, when he smiles there's this cute glimmer in his silver eyes, when he laughs his nose crinkled a bit. Draco let out a soft laugh, a giggle almost.

"Gross, Potter. You're so cheesy." Draco feigned gags, his eyes twinkled with playfulness as he pushed Harry away slightly.

"Pfft, you love it." Harry chuckles as he leans in to kiss Draco again. This was nice, it wasn't as extreme as Romeo and Juliet love potion, it was just wholesome attraction. It was nice. Ron was away on an assignment of some sort so Harry and Draco had the whole room to themselves. They weren't shagging or anything, Harry laid on Draco's lap as he stroked Harco while Draco continued to read Romeo and Juliet as he played and twirled with Harry's hair. It was a calm and peacefully nice night, the sun set breeze sneaked its way into the room as the curtains fluttered around.

So this was what love felt like.
