||want you back||
" you know even when i say i moved on, you know even though i know you're gone, all i think about is where i went wrong "

The kiss was short and sweet but nonetheless, magical. She could feel the shocks of electricity coursing through where their skin connected and she realized that it really was like what you read in the books. At least for her, it was.
As soon as their lips connected, Gilbert's hand went to her cheek and her hip. This was the first time Olivia had done this. She had no idea what to do so she opted for placing her palms on his chest. The pair found themselves moving back to the tree where Olivia's horse was tied up.
Ollie's back hits the bark but as soon as they get there, she steps in a big clump of poo. Breaking the kiss, she looks down at her shoes. "Are you kidding me?" She groans.
A laugh breaks her out of her thoughts and she glares at Gilbert who can't contain himself. "Do you think this is funny Blythe?" She gapes at him. "My shoes are ruined."
"Tell you what," he starts. "I'll clean them off for you." He grabs Olivia by the waist and lifts her leg, grabbing the shoe. Turning, he dangles it over the water.
"Gilbert stop!" She yells, trying to grab it.
"Ah-ta-ta." He scolds her, wagging his finger in her face. "The only way you're getting this is if you tell me why you ran off on me."
"Just give it back." She complains, snatching at it again.
"Tell me."
"No."
"Tell me."
"No."
"Tell me."
"Fine! My mom banned me from speaking with you so when you went to go kiss me I freaked out and ran away. I liked you, heck I still like you and I'm sorry I ran but I panicked." She shrugs, crossing her arms.
He nods, looking down at the blue, sparkling water. "You can't swim, right?"
"No." She shakes her head, sighing.
"Let me teach you." Gilbert suggests and Olivia shakes her head.
"No, no way are you going to put me in that water." She refuses.
"Oh come on, you can't live your whole life without knowing how to swim." He presses. "Plus, you wouldn't want to lose your shoe either, would you?" A smirk plays on his lips as he extends his arm farther.
"Don't you dare!" She yells. "I'll do anything, please don't."
"Anything huh?" His mouth forms into a devilish smile. "Fine, then swim for it." And with that, he chucks the shoe to the other side of the lake. With a gasp, Ollie grabs the swimsuit she grabbed from her house and she runs down the hill to the downward slope where Gilbert had pulled her onto that fateful day.
Throwing off her other shoe, she reaches for the tops of her tights, pulling them off so they don't get ruined. She then changes into her suit behind an oddly huge rock so Gilbert wouldn't be able to see her. As she takes a step forward she freezes. How was she going to swim to the other side of the lake without drowning?
"Come on," He grabs her hand and it's just then when she realizes that he has shed his shirt. She quickly looks away and Gilbert notices, laughing. Taking slow steps, the walk until the water reaches Ollie's chest. "Okay, I want you to pull your feet up and wave your arms around, okay?"
Nodding slowly, she leans back and puts her feet out in front of her but the unbalance makes start sinking and she soon is jumping up. "Hey, it's okay, just breathe." Gilbert says, calming her down. Move your arms first to get yourself afloat."
Olivia tries again but still can't get it down. "It's just like falling asleep, do it slowly and then all at once. I'll be right here the whole time, I swear."
Taking a deep breath, Olivia moves her arms around her and slowly brings her leg up and then the other one quickly. She was doing it! She was swimming! "Gil, look! I'm doing it!" She exclaims and Gilbert looks at her in admiration.
"Good job Ol."
The two continue that for another 10 minutes, graduating from the shallow end to the parts where Olivia couldn't touch. It was terrifying for Olivia but with Gilbert by her side, she managed to do it.
"Now, let's have some fun with this." He smiles at her, dragging her out of the water and to a tree that leans over the lake. A tan rope is tied securely around one of the branches.
Olivia's mouth drops. "No way. I am not doing that." She shakes her head vigorously.
"What?" He smirks, knowing what he can do to get her to jump off of it. "You scared?"
Glaring at the boy, She grabs the rope and starts climbing the tree with ease since she does that all of the time. Gulping her nerves down, she places one foot on a knot in the rope. Deciding she shouldn't count down because she'll just chicken out, she pushes off the tree with the other foot and swings forward. Without breathing, she jumps off of the rope and into the water.
"At'away Olivia!" Gilbert screams at her.
Pushing herself up from the sandy bottom of the pond, she breaks the surface with a smile on her face. "Let's do it again."
