I took the headphones off feeling the tears starting to blossom but I forced it back down. Today the label asked if I could come and record but if I knew it'll make me feel this way I'd say to hell with it.

Toni: L.A. I'm not feeling this

L.A.: What are you talking 'bout girl this song gonna be a hit.

Toni: I don't know. I'm not even sure if I wanna keep singing.

L.A.: Run that by me again you said what now?

Toni: You heard me I- *phone ringing*. I gotta take this.

[On the Phone]

Toni: What do you want Tamar?

Tamar: I know you lying girl you better switch it up.

Toni: Tamar I will jump through this damn phone and strangle you. What is it

Tamar: I'm telling mommy but anyways guess who's in town on tour girl... Janet Jackson *screams*

Toni: *cringes* that's nice monster

Tamar: All you gotta say is that's nice? You sick or something? It's Janet Jackson fool and we're going.

Toni: I'm not going

Tamar: Like hell you ain't Toni Braxton. I'm picking you up tomorrow...peace in the Middle East.

I was internally have a break down. I can't see her especially not after what happened. I tried thinking of ways to get out of this messy situation. I know for sure if I look at that woman's face, I will have a meltdown. I walked back in the studio to get my bag.

L.A.: I'll see you here tomorrow Tone.

Toni: About that, I won't be able to come...I just made plans.

L.A.: Fine but be here ready to record Monday.

It looks like I'm going to this show after all. Looking at her face will bring back so many memories that I've buried deep inside and only God can help me.
