Suzan's Pov

I know what you're thinking you don't have to say it. I'm going to get an abortion. I can't have this man's baby not if I want to get Janet back. My boyfriend, Orlando has been bent on giving me a baby no matter how it happens. This is the second time I've been here and I'm pretty sure that the nurses talk about me behind my back but I don't give a damn.

Nurse: Suzan Greene? The doctor's ready for you.

The walk to the doctor's office was awkward as hell. I felt the nurse looking at me with disappointment all over her face. When we got to the office, the doctor looked at me with disapproving eyes as well.

Doctor: You know there are measures to take to prevent pregnancy.

Suzan: with all respect doctor I didn't come here for a lecture okay? I came here to get this thing out of me.

Doctor: This is your second time Suzan. If you get another abortion you may never be able to conceive ever again.

Suzan: and that's fine with me now can you hurry? The faster you work the faster I get to go home.

Doctor: Alright. I just have to go over a few things before we start.

Suzan: fine just hurry up

Doctor: It's recommended that you have a ride home. You cannot drive or do anything puts stress on your body for 24 hours.

Suzan: okay are you done?

Doctor: don't cut me off again thank you.

Suzan: Doc I've been here before okay I know all the rules now can we start please?

She began the procedure making sure to be careful since this was my second abortion. I could tell that she had something to say and normally I'd tell her to shut up but I really needed a distraction.

Doctor: So where's this girlfriend you've been bragging about?

Suzan: oh she's at home sleeping. My baby needs all the rest she can get.

Doctor: I hear that. Does she know about this?

Suzan: No she doesn't and she won't. I don't want to break her heart more than I have already. She proposed to me last week I can't have anything getting in the way of that.

Doctor: Oh congratulations

Suzan: You're totally invited girly

Doctor: I can't go even though that's a nice gesture but it's a strict rule around here that I have to stick to.

Suzan: they don't have to know. You wanna see what my baby looks like?

Doctor: Sure I guess it won't hurt.
