You lay on the grass with him, your body freezing and soaked in the dew, though you didn't really care. Stella had carried you near a forest to an open field, where there was plenty of grass for her to graze and snack on while you and Levi recovered from the full speed galloping and stop being dizzy. Your head was throbbing and spinning from the impact of the ride. But it had been thrilling, much too thrilling for words. But now you lay here, anxiety twisting your stomach, staring at the dotted constellations above your head and waiting patiently for when Levi was going to tell you his secret. He just sat beside you as if not aknowledging your existence, hood pulled way over his face so it was all just shadowed but you could sense the sweat dripping down his neck and body. And he panted too. You shivered from the cold and from the excitement. Something was happening right now. Something you didn't know how to put into words.

"(Y/N)," Levi said, all too quietly. "I want you to close your eyes and face me." He sounded soft, firm and exact at the same time, it confused you but you took the order. "Ok," you said, facing him, but not catching a glimpse of his face from under the hood. "If anything happens, if I slip out of control, you have to run. Run and don't look back at me please." He gripped your shoulders with his gloved hands and you removed them slowly. "I understand Levi," you whispered, though you half didn't.

Something rumbled in the back of his throat, making you slightly unsettled. His smile, which was also laced with pain was visible under his hood. It wasn't the kind, usual one he flashed at you often. This one was cold, anxious, out of control. "Good," he breathed, his voice suddenly growing a little deeper. The wind whipped past you both and strands of your hair blew over your eyes. You closed them, still trying to feel him. You couldn't see a single movement, you didn't even dare to open them in smallest slit incase something unexpected happened. You tried to feel him moving, tried to make that connection between you both.

A hand slid out towards you, still gloved. You tentatively reached forward for him, as if you were stumbling through the dark and trusting him to lead you into the light. Your fingers made contact with his, ever so lightly. You traced your own up his wrist and softly gripped at the leather, feeling the need to pull it off and feel his hand beneath yours once more. "Go ahead," he said, his voice trembling slightly. There was no hesitation in what you did; you just tore off the glove like it was wrapping paper. When you felt his hand gripped yours, you gasped a little. Panic bobbed in your throat. That couldn't be his hand, it was furry and four sharp claws were ever so slightly but not painfully jutting into your skin from their lenght. What was this? "Levi!" You gasped, your eyes flying open trying to see him once more just for comfort. But when you opened your eyes your heart skipped a beat from shock as you beheld him sat opposite you.

He had pulled his hood back while your eyes were shut. The same wiry black hair swayed over his face, the same awkward smile, the same silvery blue eyes still watched you. A long, grey and white furry face with a sharp jawline and a thick, muscled neck with a vein throbbing at the side looked straight ahead at you. His hands were still gentle, even with the claws. His face was still beautiful but completely different. Two sharp black ears jutted out from that mass of hair. You knew what all this was about now, all the pieces fitted together perfectly, like a puzzle clicking together in your brain. Levi was a werewolf.

He opened his huge muzzle to speak. "(Y/N)," he said, his voice now deeper and rumbling, a beautiful sound to your ears. "I'm so sorry I've let you down. I've tried to be a normal guy as much as I could... but this...," he looked down at his paws, clenching them in his lap. 'This is what I am, how I was born. It cant be reversed. " You couldn't speak. Your throat burned and the many words you wanted to say clouded your brain. This was the most unexpected secret you had ever heard. But there had been hints to it and pretty obvious ones too. But how could you have never considered this? It didnt matter now.

"Did I shock you (Y/N)?" He said, looking at you with saddened eyes. "Quite a bit," you admitted truthfully. He shifted towards you slightly, his muzzle close to your face. "Should we...You know, stop loving and meeting eachother?" Your eyes brimmed with silver tears. He cupped your cheek with a furry paw, brushing stray hair strands away and wiping the tear from the side of your face. "(Y/N), talk to me. What's wrong? Are you scared of me?"
"No," you sobbed. "No ofcourse not." You then pulled him into a tight embrace. The tears streamed down and you felt the heat of them on your face. You buried your face in his furry chest, savouring the warmth. "It doesent matter what shape or form you take. I don't care. Your still Levi to me and I love you very much, you hear me?" You stroked the fur on his face. "Just because you're a wolf, that doesent make you a bad person. You will always be an amazing person to me." No words you had ever spoken could be more beautifully true. "I'm just scared for you. What happens when they find out?" He smiled and nuzzled your cheek, his fur tickling it. "They won't. I promise you it's our little secret." You rested your head against his forehead for some moments in silence, as if sitting in vigil.

"Well, (Y/N)," he said after a while. "I guess we're up for an adventure."
