Levi POV:
I buried my teeth into the grey wolf's scruff once Erwin was released. The wolf screeched, trying to shake me off, writhing against the walls. The taste of blood and matted fur was foul in my mouth but I dug in harder, bile rising in my throat at the sour tang of blood. He was still here and lying dazed on the floor. I shot Erwin a panicked look. Why wasn't he running? He should have been sprinting off down the hallway if I were him. "ERWIN GO!" I howled, briefly releasing my hold on the grey wolf's scruff. He was quick enough to get me off unfortunately. He bought his massive paw round my face with huge, unsheathed claws and the blow sent me crashing into the desk. The splinters of wood dug into my fur but I shook them off, the blood splattering slightly. The blood was warm on my face and I wondered how deep the scar was. I was lucky for him not to have clawed my eyes out. The wound should have been enough to sweep the grey wolf off focus before I could attack him again. The back of my head throbbed in agony and through my blurry vision I saw Erwin launch himself into the wolf's face while he was off balance. Kicking and screaming rang in my ears and I ground my aching teeth together. What was he doing? He had no weapons, no gear. He was trying to single handedly fight the damn thing. I couldn't scream out to him, my body and throat were too achy. The wolf would use tossing my broken body across the room to weaken me up to his advantage. I needed my blades for this. The trouble was I didnt know how to get to them.
As my vision swam back into focus I stumbled forward, seeing Erwin still trying to fight him. The wound I had inflicted was pretty big, the gash deep and blood staining all around that part of his scruff. Not big enough to phase a massive wolf though. Erwin roared in frustration, which actually sent chills down my spine. He bought his bleeding knuckles into the wolf's eye and blood spurted from underneath, spattering on his face and soaking his clothes. His teeth were gritted and his nostrils flaring from the impact. His expression suddenly turned to utter shock and he looked at his blood soaked hands as if realising what he'd I stood up on all fours, shaking all weariness and pain from my body. My mouth fell open in a stupefied gape. Erwin had blinded him in one eye. The wolf issued a guttural snarl and screech from its throat, spit and blood flying from its jaws. A wave of terror washed over me as I realised that an angered wolf was far more dangerous and more importantly, they had a high functioning sense of smell. Even if he couldn't see him well, he could still smell Erwin.
Sure enough, he riveted round and I heard those jaws give a deathly snap as they embedded themselves brutally in Erwins arm. He looked stunned for a second, eyes bulging out dumbly and then he screamed and thrashed, tears leaking out of his eyes from the pain. The blood spattered and ran down his sleeve and his knees buckled underneath him. "Erwin!" I screamed, leaping across the office to him. He yanked his teeth out of Erwins arm and hurled him down on the carpet, where he lay still, bleeding all over the carpet. "Hold on, Erwin!" I yelped as we both rolled around, biting and snapping mercilessly. I writhed under his crushing weight but at the same time clawed at his belly with my hind legs and snapped at his neck, hoping it would hold him off for long enough. Erwin had already lost a fair amount of blood. He'd be ok but I needed to get him away from here. And (Y/N). Oh how I prayed she was safe. Please get her somewhere safe Stella, I thought.
Your POV:
"Faster!" You practically screamed at the black stallion, urging Stella on along with him. They had come here; for Levi. He had bought this upon them but it wasn't his fault. These wolves that attacked must be his former pack. The tang of blood hung in your nostrils and it was smeared everywhere like deadly war paint. Despite every soldier having faced worse hell, wolves were still dangerous. Wolves that would stop at nothing to take Levi away. Well it wasn't happening, for no one would separate you and your wolf boy. There were many bad wolves in the world, ones that snarled, bit, killed. The ones that unleashed the cruelty and sin into the world, causing us to overlook the beauty. People, in other words. And he was not one of them. He never would be. You knew in your heart he'd always choose to be human. And as for you, you wouldn't let him go to the wolves. Never again.
