"Happy birthday to you!" The boys sang. I got shoulder jolts from Steve and Sodapop after everyone finished singing.
"Sorry we can't stay Sar." Sodapop said. Steve nods his head wildly behind him. "But you should spend some time with Pony. Have fun!" Soda hugged me before he left for the DX.
Two-bit laughs wildly. "Ponyboy gettin' a girl was funny enough, but bein' alone with her," He erupts into more intense laughter as Ponyboy flushes red.
"Don't listen to him Pony, he's just jealous." I said and kiss my boyfriend's cheek next to me.
"C'mon man, not in here." Dally says. Dally is a friend of the boys and I. He's very tuff and smokes a lot.

Ponyboy and I have been going steady for almost a year and two months now, which is kind for unheard of because of our ages. Pony just turned fourteen last month and I turn fourteen around now. Whenever my birthday is, as I know it is around this time but I never celebrated it so I'm not totally sure.
Sodapop is Ponyboy's older brother
