'(Y/n) something has happened...'
Those four words were something you were hoping you didn't have to hear. With a loud 'crash' the glass you were currently holding in your hands fell to the floor, breaking to pieces.
'Yato this better be one of your sick jokes,' You exclaimed, holding your hands to your head.
'Of course, it is. I've been trying to get your attention for hours. Figured I had to go to drastic measures in order to get your attention,' he chuckled before continuing, 'Kakashi wanted me to tell you that he's okay and to remember to eat today, oh! He also said you should rub your belly and tell the baby how much his daddy misses him, you know, all that fun stuff.'
'Yato, I swear on my fathers grave you will be getting a punch to the face the next time I see you,' You took a deep breath, 'tell him I love him more and that I'll be sure to keep myself healthy. Also, I want to be the one to tell him about what happened the other night, so, leave that to me, got it?' You were annoyed, to say the least, stress wasn't good for you or the baby. Yato had said a quick 'goodbye' after promising he wouldn't tell Kakashi.
While you were having that conversation in your head, Naruto and Sasuke had run into the kitchen after hearing the glass shattering. They had tried to get your attention but eventually had given up. Sasuke had lifted you up and brought you to the living room so Naruto and he could pick up the glass and make you some food.
After snapping out of it, you were confused as to why you were in the living room but decided not to question it. Naruto had come into the room with two bowls of ramen, one for him of course.
"Alright Naru, take care of (y/n) while I'm at the store, I'll be back soon," Sasuke placed a gentle kiss on Naruto's lips before walking out the door. You smiled at the two, admiring their relationship. Naruto placed the bowl in front of you before taking a seat beside you.
"Say, (Y/n)-chan, how did you know you loved Kakashi sensei? Like obviously you liked him, but at what point did you really know you loved him?" Naruto asked while getting flustered.
"I guess what I'm really asking is your opinion on love and stuff like that," He scratched the back of his head, smiling nervously. You had taken a few mouthfuls of ramen before answering, really thinking about your answer.
"Well, I suppose it just happened," You took another bite of your ramen, making Naruto confused.
"Just happened? Like love at first sight?" He questioned making you chuckle.
"No, I don't believe in love at first sight. When I first met Kakashi, I didn't know him, and I don't believe you can love someone you don't know. He was just my sensei, and I was his student... I think the first thought that popped into my head was how mysterious he was and how he'd be an interesting friend. If I was to go back in time and tell my younger self Kakashi and I would be together, I probably wouldn't believe it." You started laughing a bit, Naruto was listening intently to your words though, growing more curious.
"I didn't know I was going to fall so hopelessly in love with him. You see, loving him crept up on me. At some point, I realized I had a crush on him. Then there was this moment where I knew I wanted to be with him. It wasn't some big romantic moment like there is in books because love can't just be expressed my words in a book." You placed your bowl in your lap, thinking.
"Love doesn't happen at first sight, nor do sparks fly. Love, like most good things in life, happen when you least expect it." You finished, smiling. Naruto seemed to be lost in thought, he himself had stopped eating his ramen, a rare thing to witness.
