so it starts off with taeyun (depression) coming back into hwayoung's life. he then spends some time with her before he leaves.
she encounters kangdae, who's pretty much almost the love of her life.
during the time taeyun leaves, april commits suicide — having enough.
kangdae — her imaginary friend — comforts her.
taeyun comes back with a book.
MORE ABOUT TAEYUN'S BOOK:
if you've noticed, the words in the book are the titles of this particular story.
intro, jung taeyun, him?, no, what?, april, lost, alone, coming over, see you later, goodbye.
what it basically means is that,
jung taeyun is introduced into the story (hwayoung's life). then this is random but it was a question whether he was being the one killed. no. it was hwayoung.
the what? was just a confused emotion.
then april, lost = april had lost the battle with her depression, resulting in her leaving.
now hwayoung is left all alone and taeyun comes over to her. then when she's gone, it's goodbye.

^ i hope you understood that.

kangdae had a special power, erasing memories. when he looked into her eyes, she got hypnotised so it wouldn't be as painful when she passes away.
kangdae then went into her room to dispose off further memories.
taeyun, although not being real and supposedly being the depression, he caught feelings for her. (a/n: just go with it okay?)
he tries to comfort her (ironic), before her last moments. then in the end, he finally confessed.
but then, it wasn't him who pushed her. at that moment, (remember i said she was hypnotised?) she wasn't herself. she couldn't think of anything.
SHE was the one who stood on the railings. SHE was the one who jumped.
depression does that.
so hwayoung left the world.—
