"Stop here" I demanded to the chauffeur driver as we came up to building my father owned. He was the CEO of some record label. I can’t quiet remember the name of it, not that it mattered. What mattered was that he made a lot of money from it, which meant I got a lot of money from it. If you asked anyone they would say I’m spoilt. I wouldn’t quiet put it that way, I would say I was privileged. I always got what I wanted, no exceptions. I had my father wrapped around my finger and that’s the way it always was. I grew up in the New York which I loved. I never wanted to live anywhere else. He hated when I interrupted him at work but this was important. My card was declined in the middle of Macy’s, the epitome of embarrassment. Whatever he was doing could wait, this was an existential crisis.

"You have two options, you could re-record it or just go with the demo-" He was saying. He was sitting opposite four guys who turned around as soon as I walked in. “Daddy, my card got declined..what am I going to do?” I whined pouting at him. He sighed placing his fingers on his temple, letting his anger subside. “Sweetheart, I’m in a meeting” he said gesturing to the boys sitting in front of him staring up at me. As soon as I glanced back at them I knew exactly who they were, 5 Seconds of Summer. Daddy had been talking about them a lot lately since he has started managing them or something like that. And besides who hasn’t heard their new single?

"But Daddy this is an emergency! How am I meant to buy those cute stilettos?". "I guess the whole world is just going to have to stop then, until you get them?" He said sarcastically which made the boys chuckle. I hated when he spoke down to me like that, it made me feel like such a child. "Well yeah.." I answered him. I saw from the corner of my eyes that the blond one with the lip piercing scoffed at my words, shaking his head. I think he is Luke but I’m not positive. I squinted my eyes at him at his clear disgust for what I was saying. "I need a coffee..be back in a minute boys" Daddy said getting up from his chair and walking out.

I groaned flopping in his chair. “So..how’s the album going or whatever?” I said attempting to make small talk. “Good it’s nearly finished so it should be out in June” Calum spoke up. I nodded looking at my nails. "That’s great" I said not greatly interested. The blond scoffed again, rolling his eyes. What was this kids problem?

"Okay so let’s get back to business" Daddy said gliding back into the room and gesturing for me to get up, and I obliged. “Daddy the card..” I whined stomping my feet slightly. The blond ran his hands through his hair looking extremely frustrated. “Jesus..” He said shaking his head but I just ignored him. “Katherine if you just let me finish this meeting I promise I’ll fix it straight after okay?" He suggested. “Okay.." I agreed knowing not to push him when he called me by my full name. It was always Kate unless he was annoyed. “I’ll wait in the lobby” I said as I walked out. The blond glared at me as I walked out. I waited in the lobby, strolling around trying to find something to do. I sat down in the bench because I had spent most of the day walking around in 6 inch heels. I heard the doors of Daddy’s office open and the boys strolled out not noticing me as I was at the end of the hall.

"Can you believe Georges daughter? What a little brat" I heard Luke say to the other boys. I gasped at his words, glaring at him. "Excuse me?" I said as they got closer to me. Luke eyes widened when he noticed me standing there. He said nothing just taking his lip ring in his mouth. I had to admit it was really sexy but he was being too much of a jerk for me to see him that way. "You don’t even know me?" I continued. “Oh believe me..I know you” He said raising his eyebrows as he sunk his hands into his pockets. “What does that mean?” I said defensively."It means you have a reputation for being a brat and that’s exactly what you are" He said clearly. "Luke..come on.." Ashton said, disapproving of his harshness. “Well I haven’t heard a thing about you guys before so you’re clearly irrelevant” I lied, crossing my arms. I knew exactly who he was but I wasn’t going to give him the satisfaction.

"I’d say if I had a sale sign attached to me you would" He said and I glared at him as I opened my mouth but was interrupted when Daddy walked out with my card in his hand. "All fixed, now go have fun" He said handing me the card."Thank you Daddy" I said in a fake tone kissing his cheek. I smirked at Luke before walking off. I couldn’t see him but I just know he was rolling his eyes. I didn’t know much about him but I knew that my presence annoyed him beyond comprehension and I was going to use it to my advantage.

Hey this is a new fan fiction I'll be writing, hope you like it!
