Heyo. So um...just to clarify for those who still just do not get it. I don't write smut because I'm asexual. Like it doesn't mean I'm a fuckin plant it means like I'm not interested in sex at all. Although I like to toy with the idea of a relationship and all that I'm really not that into the whole relationship thing too, which is why my romance scenes suck. So I'm basically gonna be one of those old lady's with fifty million cats instead of kids.
Lol. Happy reading.

Pete slept like a baby that night. And for many nights after that, considering he'd more or less moved into Stellar's room with her. To Pete, it was a sign she was getting better. That combined with the regular therapy sessions she'd been attending lately proved to him that she'd come miles from where she'd been down in the dumps what seemed like ages ago. She even began talking again, only to him really, small but getting gradually longer. Usually they'd just sit on the sofa and watch TV and play games or read on sunny days outside. It was getting slightly normal again to an extent. So when Stellar randomly bought up something to him one rainy afternoon while they were sitting aside the window seat reading, he nearly fell right through the window and onto the street below with suprise.
"Wait, what?!"
Stellar peered over the edge of her book at Pete, who sat gaping with his eyes wide and hair tousled to the extreme.
"I said, are we still getting married. "
Pete did nothing but blink at her for the first few moments before speaking. He thought she'd completely forgotten, because well, you know, they had bigger things going on. "I–I–of course! That is, if you still want to. I'm down anytime. I do love you, after all."
Stellar nodded, putting her book down. "I love you too. I–lately I've been having some flashbacks. Kind of a paranoia of sorts. Like, they might come and take me again–"
"And you want to feel safe. Secure."
"Exactly." She let Pete take her hands from where they'd been ghosting over her old scars during her rant and into his own. "Look. I totally understand. If you want to...we could go straight to the registry office and sign the marriage certificate. The ceremony can wait till whenever." Stellar's eyes lit up as she leapt at Pete in a bear hug. "Thank you. Thank you so much. As soon as possible would be great." Pete smiled softly against her apple scented hair. "Today? We can drive down there now if you want."
"Really? I'll go get my stuff!" She leapt off of him this time, running into her bedroom before coming back out with her things. Pete quickly laced his converses, picking up his keys and guiding stellar excitedly to the door. They took the elevator down to the carpark, getting in Pete's new unsurprisingly black car. He had to admit, he was still a little edgy around any kind of vehicle ever since the accident. But he got over it, well more like ignored it, because you know, he was about to get married. Stellar switched on the radio as they pulled out of the parking lot and onto the road, gasping as Patrick's voice rang out loud and clear across the waves. "Hey, I haven't heard this one before. "
"It was the fourth of July
You and I were, you and I were
Fire, fire, fireworks
that went off too soon
And I miss you in the june gloom too
It was the fourth of july
You and I were fure, fire
Fireworks
I said that I'd miss you but I guess you'll never know
May the bridges that i have burned
Light my way back home
On the fourth of July...'""Pete..." She trailed off, listening. Pete laced his fingers with her and gave it a gentle squeeze as he turned another corner. "Is...is this about us?" Pete nodded, a slight blush rising to his cheeks. "Uh, yeah. They're actually more or less all about you. "
"All? Wait there are more?"
He nodded again. "We released the new album not long ago. I wrote all the songs real fast and handed them over to Patrick. I just recorded my bass lines and gave them to them. Honestly, I was hardly ever even at recording or anything. Bam, another album."
"Woah, ok. What's it called?"
Pete grinned slyly. "Uh. American Beauty/American Psycho."
Stellar laughed. As in really, body shakingly laughed. "I guess that's kinda fitting. " Pete waggled his eyebrows at her as they pulled up outside the courthouse and turned off the engine. "Right. Are you ready?"
"As ready as I'll ever be." She took a deep breath and got out, waiting for Pete to lock the car before they linked hands and began walking nervously up the stairs and inside. Once in, Pete went up to the office woman who handed him a stack of papers and directed him toward another room, where a line of people stood. They sat down adjacent the line, taking out a pen and began to fill in the various documents before they too lined up. Pete sniggered at the lady who was stamping things at the front. "Is it just me or does she look almost identical to that librarian in Monsters University?"
Stellar elbowed him in the ribs as a few people glanced back with disapproving faces. He pouted and remained silent until they reached monster lady, almost breaking out into a fit of giggles as she verified the documents etcetera. Once that was done, they were back in the car in a flash, smiling and giggling like teenagers. "Did were seriously just do that?"
Pete hugged her, swinging her around. "Sure did wifey. This is like, the best decision I've ever made–"
He stopped for a moment and put her down, a slow smile spreading across his face. He threw the car keys at her. "Be right back wifey, gimme five. Just go wait in the car for me, yeah?" He bopped her nose before sprinting across the road and out of her sight. She shook her head and walked back to the car, jumping in and pulling out her iphone. She needed to tell someone about how she just got married. So she settled on her best friend, waiting for the tone to dial through before he picked up. "Josh! Guess what–"
"–sorry stellar, I'll call you back later. I'm like, extremely busy right now. Bye." The phone cut out. I'm busy. I'll call you back later. Later? What, in like ten years? Everytime she'd called lately he'd just said that or something similar. To her that said it all.
He was ignoring her.
She was cut off from her thoughts as Pete bounded back into the car with a big smile on his face, which quickly dropped when he saw her own. "W–what's wrong? Do you regret it now—" She shook her head. "No, no, no. I'm so happy we did that. It's just Josh. He doesn't want to talk to me anymore. "
Pete's eyes confirmed it for her before he even spoke. "I want to say that that's ridiculous, but apparently I have to be ridiculously honest with you considering. So...honestly, I'm not sure what planet he's on with you, but he's just completely dropped the rest of us. Doesn't even want to speak, wants nothing to do with us. I'm sorry."
"It's Ok, it's not your fault. I guess if he wants anything to do with me he'll make an effort." He reached over and hugged her. "Aw, don't be sad. I like seeing you happy. Look, I got you a present. I was gonna save it for the right moment but now seems a good a time as any." He pulled back and reached behind him, bringing out a little box and handing it to her. Her eyes widened for the utmost time that day as she opened it, dumbstruck. Inside the box was a glittering tier of shimmering diamonds contrasted by an array of dark emeralds. She shook as Pete slipped it onto her finger. "An engagement ring, since I never got time to get you one before. And—" He pulled out another box, inside concealing two black wedding bands that were adorned with intricate patterns. He slipped one on her finger and the other on his. "—wedding bands. Since we just got married. And because I'm a real emo mofo I got black. Oh and because I'm Pete wentz I got it engraved with something real depressing." He turned them over.
"Si vis amari, ama. If you want to be loved, love. Hope you like them. If you want I can go get you a different one—" She kissed him right there in the middle of the carpark. "They're perfect. Thank you Pete, I mean it. "And she really did.

Nice long chapter. Will they live happily ever after? Also I love Josh to pieces and it killed me to write that part!
