Wanna One (1)

Footsteps could be heard running down the hallways of the dorm. The boys thought it was nothing until the footsteps returned and disappeared.

The same thing kept happening again and again, until Hoseok eventually opened his studio door to see Aerum running away.

He stared down at her bare feet as she ran away, realizing that it was the sound of her feet softly padding against the wooden floor.

From afar, Hoseok heard her let out a wail. His eyes widened and his face scrunched up in confusion. He followed after her as she made her way past Taehyung's door.

Hoseok knocked on Taehyung's door, keeping his eyes on Aerum. Taehyung opened the door, his forehead bumping against the side of Hoseok's head.

"Ow - Hobi, what are - "

"Do you see what Aerum is doing?" Hoseok asked.

Taehyung scrunched up his eyebrows. "No, why? Is she the one making all the noise?"

Hoseok nodded, pointing to her as she came their way. She ran past them, but Taehyung reached past Hoseok and grabbed her arm. She flew forward and skidded to a stop. She stared at them with tears in her eyes.

"Aerum? What's wrong?" Taehyung asked.

She whimpered in response and turned around, yanking her arm out of his hand and running in the other direction.

The two stared at each other before texting the other members in their group chat. They were all worried about Aerum once they found out she was crying.

Less than ten minutes later, the boys were all assembled outside of Aerum's room after they found out she stopped running around and settled down.

Each one of them poked their heads out from the two sides of the door and found Aerum on her bed. She was watching something on her Apple TV, and the boys assumed it was another music video she hooked up from her phone.

Sniffles could be heard from her as she watched her television. She had a pillow on her lap and her hand was on the remote, raising the volume.

"Is that Wanna One?" Yoongi asked.

Taehyung nodded. "I think it's their new music video."

Aerum paused the video, staying silent until she broke out into more tears. "I love them so much," she whimpered. "I wish I could be in their group. They're all so beautiful."

All hell broke loose after that.
