The Argument

Aerum didn't know who to really trust anyone. She didn't want to trust anyone anymore. People around her always ended up lying or using her.

That's why she clung onto Jin more. She knew he wouldn't try anything with her. Jimin was one of the last people she thought would have sex with her.

If Jimin ended up doing so, then who was to say Namjoon or Jungkook wasn't coming after her?

Everyone else - of course - noticed the large act of affection she recently held for Jin. Aerum never left his side. She even slept with him in his room now. What was once Yoongi's or Taehyung's job was now Jin's job.

Quite frankly, Jungkook was fed up with Aerum. He was done with her bullshit. So when he suddenly lashed out at her one night, some of the boys weren't even surprised - and yet they were.

They surprised at the words he said, but they weren't surprised that he lashed out.

"God, why do you have to act like this? Like you're some broken porcelain doll? It's so annoying! We're supposed to be teammates - all of us! And yet you're just clinging onto Jin for dear life, just because Namjoon outed you and Jimin in the meeting! We have to walk on eggshells because of you, and I'm so fucking sick of it! If we never got a girl on the group, we wouldn't have this kind of drama!"

That was how Aerum found herself alone on a small playground on a swing in the middle of the night.

It wasn't safe for her to be alone in the middle of the night. She knew that, but she just needed to go somewhere. Locking herself in her room wouldn't suffice.

So when Aerum saw a man clothed in black trying to steal a woman's bag, she hopped into action.

She did what she felt she had to do. She stood up to the thief and created a wall in front of the woman.

But then, he brought out something that glinted in the moonlight. He waved it in her face, telling her to move aside or he'd shoot.

But Aerum didn't move. She would protect the woman with her own life. If her own teammates didn't need her anymore, then what was the point?

"Run," Aerum whispered to the woman.

The woman didn't want to. She didn't want to leave Aerum with an insane man.

"Run!" Aerum screamed.

The man, frustrated that Aerum wouldn't listen to her, shot her. But it was a bad choice. People heard the loud gunshot. Lights began to appear on the houses and the sound of doors opening were apparent. The assailant ran away as Aerum collapsed onto the floor.

The woman - who didn't get the chance to actually run - started screaming for help.
