The next morning, Sonakshi was busy with some files in her office and was dealing with her patient. Her patient was a rape victim as well. She has recovered very well and her parents were thankful to Dr. Bose. They were thanking her wholeheartedly. Sona remembered about last night, Dev's condition. This still was something that haunts her. Even that girl used to cry and self-harm herself, but her parents were standing right beside her.

"Now it's time to move on Meena. For yourself and your family!!" says Sona. "Yes Dr. Bose, and thank you for counseling me so well...... I was always harsh and wild... But you never gave up!!"

"It's my duty Meena." she smiles. And Meena and her family leave finally.

She calls on some number.

"Hello"

After an hour, when she was dealing with her other patients, her phone rings. Elena's number flashed on the screen.

"Hello"

"Sona...... Dev...... Dev is....."

"What happened??" she jumps from her chair and asks a bit louder.

"He's...... He's not at home..... He ran away....."

After reaching the house, Sona was surprised to hear the happenings in her absence.

Elena explains the story of the last hour,

"Sona, Dev was continuously blabbering something, curled up in the duvet and leaned on the headboard, eyes wide in terror, and arms around hugging his knees," she explains.

"Dev....." I tried to touch his shoulder but he screamed.

"I thought he must have seen a bad dream, so I tried consoling him........ Sona, his terrified eyes were screaming something which he was unable to speak, might some flashback or... I don't know" she explains crying.

"And the next moment, there was someone in the room," says Elena.

Flashback

"Bhai...." Dev's eyes twinkle at the voice.

Bose's family finds Riya standing in front of them.

Dev slowly stands up with a smile. "Pri-Princess..." He gasps. She looks at him.

"How are you bhai?" she asks with a cold voice.

"How're you my princess?!?!" his excitement could easily be sensed. He rushes in front of her with teary eyes and hearty love. He tried to caress her cheeks and embrace him in his parental embrace but stopped.

He was hesitant to touch his sister as he was dirty.

This hesitation of his, never gone unnoticed by anyone.

"Dev..." Says Ele.

"Bhai..." she holds his shoulder. "Why you did this?" she asks.

"Riya" Elena warns.

"No" Dev warns her back.

"Bhai..... You...... You remember after..... After our parents, it was Mamaji who showered his love."

"Riya" Elena was louder.

"I said no" his voice cracked.

"Do you have any idea what you did?" Riya yells. "You was my hero, my inspiration!!!" she cries.

"Riya.... Stop it" Elena interrupts.

"Elena" Dev stops.

"Today..... I can't even able to talk about you!!"

"Riya please"

"Elena"

"I'm ashamed of you Bhai" she turns to leave.
"Riya"

"Elen...." He holds her wrist as she tried to stop Riya. She turns towards him at his touch.

"I'm........... I'm......... Sorry" He leaves her wrist.

"Dev it's okay...... Don't do this to you..... You are brav-" before she completes, he ran out.

Flashback ends.

The sky turned dark and now it was raining heavily. Sona hated rain but Dev was still not home, so she kept searching for him.

" Devvv" Sona runs after him but he keeps running away.

After her heavy Search, she sees his faint figure sitting under the street light.

She heaves a sigh of relief and rushes to him.
The rain has stopped by now and he looked drenched and blankly glaring at the ground.

"Dev" she sits beside him.

He looks at her and then again at the ground.

"You're all drenched!!" says Sona, in order to start the conversation.

"Why are you here? Don't you hate rain now?" He asks with a cold voice.

"Ya actually....... I'm here to ask for help with you" She says trying hard to make him speak.

He smirks faintly saying, "Good joke!"

"No I'm serious!!" says she. "Actually no one in my house knows that I hate rain and cause they love it, I never told them" she mentally hits herself for such a stupid conversation.

"So?"

"I have a deal for you"

"What deal?"

"You'll not disclose my secret and I'll not disclose yours...... By this..... We both will be fearless!!" she knew she was talking nonsense, but this brought a smile on his face and that's what was enough for her. "Don't smile, you have to promise me" she adds.

"Promise," says he. The thing which worrying her was, he wasn't crying, he needs to cry cause he was hurt emotionally today again. She knew how important Riya is to him..... But when he needed someone to be called as family, she left.

He should cry!

"Umm..... I... I came to know about Riya" says she hesitantly.

His smile fades suddenly.

"I mean..... It's okay Dev."

"Hmm" was all his reaction. Sonakshi never wanted to see him self-harming himself, so decided not to ask more.

"Let's go," says she holding his hand.

He hurriedly removes his hand from hers.

"Dev... Do you remember, you used to say that rain is so pure that it can pure anything!!" she says.

"I've lost my trust in everything" He replies with his cold voice.

"Dev"

"I'm tired... Can we go?"

"Okay fine Dev, I promise I'll never force you for anything..... The day you will hold my hand, will be the day you'll build your trust in me" she says after he leaves the park.
