It was the day when Sonakshi has actually started observing him. He came inside the house. And Sonakshi looks at him.

He was dirty. His cheeks were bleeding. His lips had a cut and his right hand was blooded.

Sonakshi gets scared.

He looks at her, without any expression, and proceeds to his room and locks himself inside.

"Dev... Open the door" Sonakshi was yelling and banging the door of his room.

He was inside, cocooned in the corner of the room.

"Devvv are you fine??" she keeps banging the door.

He grabs the razor blade and starts carving his skin. A thick flow of blade squeezes out of his chest.

"Devvv" she bangs the door. "Can't you just reply to me?" she was tensed.

He tightens the blade in his fist. His hands were bleeding badly by now.

"Dev... What happened? Come on open the door...." she shouts.

He was crying, he was getting panic attack, he was self harming, all in all he was hating himself more.

Undoubtedly, she was worried about him. She was continuously banging at the door but he wasn't replying to anything.

"Dev please open the door" she shouts.

As Dev was about to stand up to open the door. His head turns heavy. "Ahh...." he moans in a whisper. He was trying to focus on the door which was being banged a lot times.

He takes the support of the table and certain books fall on the floor. The noise alerts Sonakshi, who was standing outside curiously.

"Dev you're fine right?" she asks when suddenly the door clicks to open.

Sonakshi takes her steps back to observe his whole tall figure. It was as similar as she has witnessed when he had attempted to murder his uncle.

He tries to speak but faints on her shoulder.

Six months have been passed. And in this duration, Sonakshi has turned more suspicious about Dev.

Did he again attempt something like this?

This question was eating her up. But again, they do not talk anymore.

"The mystery of Mr. Talwar's accident decides to remain a mystery even now. The police records states that Mr. Talwar's death was an accident but CBI officers, dealing with this case, do not believes that it can be an accident." the reporter says, as Sonakshi switches on the television.

What has happened that night?

Did he murder him?

Dev wasn't home this time. He used to spend the least of his time at home. He has built up his own empire, Dixit enterprises.

Mr. Talwar's business was now being handled by his beloved son. Dev never showed interest in his property and developed his own business.

He was now a mysterious person. Not only for the world but for Riya and Sonakshi as well.

Sonakshi, who was still compelled to live with him, was witnessing a totally different Dev.

She and her family has claimed for the divorce but unfortunately, they were ordered to spend more of 3 upcoming months together.

There were many nights he never came home. Though Sonakshi never minded it as her cup of tea so she likes ignoring him better than poking her nose in his matters.

One night, Dev rings the doorbell at 1:00 of night.

"So you are drunk!!" she fumes and opens the door.

"No actually my staff members made me....-" he loses his balance and falls but Sonakshi holds his shoulder.

He still flinches at anyone's touch. She notices and removes her hand.

"Don't need to explain me... Get to your room" she says in an orderly tone.

"No relax" he laughs and makes himself sit on the sofa. She looks at him. "I'm not going to explain anything, just relax" he murmurs leaning his head and loosing his tie. "Cause no one of you is going to believe me.... So... Let it be" he laughs and stands up but loses his balance again and Sonakshi holds him.

She makes him lie down on his bed and opens his shoes and covers him from the blanket.

"The-devil-will-be-back" he murmurs.

Devil?

Is he talking about his mamaji?

Isn't he dead?

She gets scared.

As ignoring everything, when she was about to go out of the room, he holds her hand. And manages to sit down.

"Don't leave me alone" he balances his head on her belly and refuses to leave her hands.

"Dev... You are not in senses and you have no idea how problematic this can be"

"Why everyone has to leave me?" he murmurs.

"Dev"

"Why do you all have to leave me?"

"Dev-"

"Maa.... Papa..... Riya.... Vicky.... Mamaji And you"

"Dev please sleep we'll talk later"

"No....." he murmurs. "No one talks to me.... Everybody hates me" a lone tear falls down his cheeks.

"Did you killed Mamaji?" she asks.

He remains silent.

"Dev....answer me" she pats his cheeks.

"No....." he declares and she sighs in relief. "He's alive." as soon as he says this, the relief fades away from her face.

"Alive? Where is he?"

"He'll be back soon.... Just wait for him" he laughs and faints. As his head was about to hit the headboard, Sonakshi places her hand in between and avoids the hit.

She places him softly back on his bed.

The next day was very much normal for Sonakshi.

It was evening and Dev wasn't home, nor at his office.

He was in his mamaji's room, sitting on his knees and splashing hunter on over himself. And he's done doing that, he stands up, wears his clothes and gets back to his place.

Sonakshi notices that his legs were trembling and asks, "Drunk?"

"None of your business" he yells and shuts the door of his room. He sits on his study desk and writes his diary.

Dear diary,

I accept that the accident was planned by me but there isn't found his dead body was. It means he's alive and will soon get to me. But please don't let him harm Sonakshi and Riya. Tell him that I'm punishing myself every day.

I love you Sonakshi. I wish I wasn't so coward. You do not deserve me. No one deserves me.

He closes the diary and wipes his tears.
