He reaches the office, before Sonakshi or any other staff members.
He unlocks her cabin and finally takes a long breath of satisfaction.
After half an hour,
Sonakshi reaches the office while being busy on a call,
when she suddenly notices,
Bloodstains
on the door and her table, near files.
But before she could react,
*knock knock*
"Come in"
It was Dev with a coffee mug. "Good morning Ma'am" He greets normally and keeps the coffee mug on her table.
"Dev" she stops him. He turns.
"How did this happen?" She was concerned and held his bleeding hand. The white handkerchief has turned red by now. It was as if she has forgotten every betrayal for a moment.
"This should not be your concern," says he removing his hand from her grip, "Ma'am" He adds and she lets his hand go out of grip.
Suddenly he notices bloodstains on the door and table. "I'll..... I'll clean this now," He says. Her chest tightens at his words. And he cleans the stains hurriedly.
Her eyes welled up all sudden.
"You need treatment" she holds his wrist.
"You don't need to be concerned about a peon" He jerks his hand away and leaves the cabin.
She finds this very suspicious and deep down in her heart, she feels sorry about it. Then suddenly her phone rings breaking the chain of thoughts.
"Hi Shona"
"Hey Ele" her voice was a bit dull.
"Are you fine Shona?"
"Umm.... Yes...."
"Come on Sona, tell me what's bothering you?"
Sonakshi knew that she is unable to win an argument with Elena, so she dictates everything she just witnessed.
"Shona..... I think you are overreacting"
"But Ele..... His injury seems deep and he has some bruises on his face as well....."
"Do you love him still??" Elena's question was straightforward.
"..........."
"Shona..... You remember how much he humiliated you and your love... And your family..... You remember right?"
Flashback
"Dev.... See what I've brought for you...." she chirps happily entering their music practice room.
"Sonakshi is such an easy target to be fooled!!!" He laughs with his friends.
She was all silent and was standing behind him, dumbstruck.
"See I have something to show you," Dev says excitedly while his friends pass a creepy high five.
"Oh my God Dev..... She's looking so hot.... I lust her" a friend of his, chuckles lustily.
"Show me, please.... What's this?" another friend, who was left out of the circle, seems curious.
"It is a clip which I captured when the most foolish girl was taking bath" Dev explains proudly.
