Pierce had retreated to the bathroom several times that day, vomiting up nothing but bile. He couldn't believe that Sven was going to be this much of an ass when he needed to feed just as much. Pierce was borderline ready to cry every time he felt the need to puke.

This was the last straw for him, he was going to just confront Sven, whether he wanted his sister to know or not.

Pierce stumbled into the living room, tears streaming down his cheeks. "Sven."

Sven and Mariah both turned to him. Mariah jumped up and immediately ran to his side. "Are you okay? I mean, you're obviously not, but what's wrong?"

Sven looked away.

"Sven please. It hurts too much." He gripped his shirt, which was damp with sweat and tears.

"Now you know how I felt for months." He never looked towards Pierce when he spoke. "Deal with it."

Mariah stomped her foot down hard. "Sven! How could you treat your guest like this!?" She rubbed Pierce's back. "What's wrong Pierce? Is there anything I can do to help?"

Pierce shook his head. "No, if you could, I'd jump on it in a heartbeat." His throat felt dry. "Sven, we can't play this petty ass game because you're mad. You're just as much to blame for this as I am, you could have easily let me leave that damn room, or pushed me away, but you didn't. You dragged this shit on for your own selfish reasons too."

Mariah looked from Pierce to her brother. "What is he talking about?"

Sven waved it off. "Don't worry about him. We had an argument this morning and he's just dragging it on longer then he needs to."

"Sven, he looks sick, how is this because of some petty argument?" Mariah was growing frustrated, then she connected some dots, her attention on Pierce. "There's no project, is there?"

Pierce shook his head. "No, there was never a fucking project."

Sven looked to Pierce and his sister. "Don't put shit in her head, she doesn't need to be a part of this."

Pierce sniffled. "The only project was him shoving his damn tongue down my throat. There's nothing more to me being here then that."

Mariah looked at Sven, all the anger in her tiny being was in her eyes. "Sven, what the hell did you do?"

Pierce laughed. "He'd never admit to it knowing that I'm something he hates." He ran his fingers through his hair, leaving it looking like a complete mess. "I'm sure you know about the supposed topic question we have." He spoke to Mariah, his attention still on Sven.

"Yes, I knew about that. I just helped Sven answer it this morning."

Sven stood up. "Don't you dare."

Pierce stuck his tongue out. "Well, it just so happens that it was my own little challenge for him. He wanted to know what I was, so I made a wager. He gets some more freedom if he could figure out what my species was. He got three hints even." He took a deep breath, trying his best to avoid the need to vomit again.

Mariah looked at Sven in horror. "Why would you lie to me like this?"

Sven approached them. "This is far from a lie worth getting upset over."

"Sven, this is most definitely worth getting upset over. You're stupid ass is still hung up on a girl from so many years ago, don't make him suffer just to take your anger out on someone." She tried to hold back her own tears now. "You are no different from Lucy if you do this."
