Sven sighed as he laid down in the lush grass. There was a lot on his mind after what happened on Saturday, the whole enchantment issue had him thinking. He knew then that Pierce had used it more then once to get his way, so there's no telling if it was all just some game at this point.

Pierce, however, was happily chowing down on his cut apples. His human ties made it possible to eat some normal things, but his main food source was now the energy released from lust. That still didn't stop him from eating his favorite human food: apples.

Sven was quiet, he didn't even have the desire to feed. His main food source was also the lustful energy, but he didn't want to feed with all the thoughts running through his head.

Pierce swallowed what he was chewing and turned to Sven, noticing a conflicted look on his face. He set his bowl beside his bag and put all attention on Sven. "What's up? You're awfully quiet today."

Sven took a deep breath. "I've got a lot on my mind." He sat up. "That's all."

Pierce scooted closer and leaned his head against Sven's shoulder, but he pulled away. "Why are you retracting?" Pierce was somewhat hurt by how distant Sven had become since Saturday.

"I just...I don't want to be touched right now." He rubbed his arm and pulled his knees to his chest.

"Okay...talk then?"

Sven shook his head.

"If you don't talk then how am I supposed to help? Especially since you won't let me touch you. Did..." Pierce looked at the ground. "Did I do something?"

"What is this to you?"

Pierce looked back to Sven's face. "What do you mean?"

"This." He met Pierce's eyes. "Us. Is this anything to you?"

Pierce was dumbfounded. "I don't get what you're trying to ask me Sven. Like, be more specific."

"Are you that dense? How much more specific can I get?" Sven was getting noticeably upset. "Is our relationship anything to you?"

Pierce sighed and ran his fingers through his hair. "Okay, look, I got that much, but why the hell are you bringing that up now? We've been together for, what, a month now, right? If you were feeling so iffy then why did you wait so long? Didn't we already make it through the weird shit?"

Sven was silent for a while. "Pierce, are you just keeping me around because we're stuck together? I mean, I am your food source and all, I don't see why else you would keep me around. Whenever we're together all we do is screw, there's really nothing serious about us, is there?" He dropped his head. "You don't even let me come over to your place, all we do is meet up outside of school and screw in random places that I know about." He could feel tears trying to burst out. "Like...I thought I might have found something serious, I know it's only been a month, but I feel like you'll throw me aside eventually...just like she did."

Pierce sighed and pulled Sven into a hug, despite his protest about not wanting to be touched. "Sven, just shut the fuck up for a second." He hugged him tight. "This was never going to be an easy adjustment for either of us, but keep in mind that you also didn't have to do what you did that weekend a month ago. We didn't have to be here, especially since I knew damn well what would happen if we had sex." He took a deep breath. "Sven, if I didn't want YOU then I could have easily walked away when things got too serious. I could have easily requested that I be moved to a different set of classes, but part of me said to just try it." He tightened his grip on Sven. "I'll admit that, at first, it was just a convenient way to eat and escape Ira, but I became attached for more reasons then just the convenience."
