Kyrie stretched, then returned her notebook to her bag and stood. It had been a long day and she was ready to go home and crash.

Kage, with Kyrie by his side, headed down to meet the twins in the hallway.

Anthony and Alexander exchanged a few words with them before disappearing into the locker room. They carried out their normal routine of showering before leaving the combat class.

Kyrie sat down on the bench outside the arena. "Man, I'm tired."

Kage took the spot next to her. "Busy?"

She nodded. "I've been running around all day. With one of our nurses out they needed me to fill in. For whatever reason, TODAY just happened to be the day that like 100 or so kids ended up ill."

Kage laughed. "It's exam week for some classes, I took a lot of mine last week, which is why I'm able to be here right now. They probably just wanted an out so they could skip the testing today."

Kyrie leaned over and poked Kage's visible bump. "I'm shocked you haven't opted for a chamber."

Kage held his stomach. "Well, I did some research and a lot of articles say that, even as a guy, my best bet is to just leave the orb be. It'll come out when it wants to. Apparently chambers are worse then just leaving it. Yeah, I don't have a womb and the chamber will mock one but it doesn't mock my own heart beat and stuff 100% of the time."

She smiled. "So you don't mind walking around with it showing anymore?"

He shrugged. "It is what it is."

She sat back up. "I'm just glad that it's moving along smoothly for you. Normally I wouldn't endorse a pregnancy at your age, but since you're my friend I think I'm allowed to bend my own rules."

"I appreciate the rule breaking for me." He laughed. "So, I'm curious about something since I can't ask Sven or Pierce myself, but where the hell are they? Neither of them were in first period today, did they happen to be in your sick group of kids today?"

"Nope, they're not coming in this week. It's Pierce's first heat and I told the head he needed to excuse them."

"Oh, okay so they'll mix exams all week then."

"Yeah but the school understands their situation, they can either have the tests administered at home this week or just make them up when they come back." She checked her phone. "They'll be back monday of next week. I just hope they're being smart about all this."

Kage rubbed his stomach. "Why, will they chance having this happen?"

"Yes, but not in the same manner you conceived. Pierce has both reproductive systems, he can literally get knocked up. With you and Alex you could have ignored this and it would have passed, they actually risk getting Pierce pregnant without a blessing needing to be performed."

Kage took a second to process everything. "Wait...he's a girl?"

Kyrie laughed. "Physically, no. He's male, but his species, a genuine incubus, they posses a uterus. He's hitting his first heat, which means he's fully awakened now. The digestive system shuts down, his body does some internal reworking of things, then he's got access to the female portion of his reproduction."
