"I was never invited."
"YOU WERE NEVER INVITED!?!" I had risen my voice and I knew everyone could hear me. "Are you serious? The only reason I kept in touch with you was to get you to be involved in your daughters life, So don't you dare say I never tried to invite you to anything. I invited you go to her doctors appointments for god sake."
"I'm done talking about this..." Jc sighed over the phone.
"If I hadn't gotten drunk that one night I wouldn't have to deal with you... the only thing I don't mind that came out of that night was Jamie, but I'd be fine without you."
With that Jc hung up. yeah I was a little harsh but I was telling the truth...
"Can I have my water bottle.." Jamie walked up to the car. I handed her the bottle without another word.
The rest of Jamie's practice went by slow and I just waited till 5:30 to come around. When it finally did I drive Jamie to Jen's house and headed to Aaron's place.
I pulled into the drive way and parked the car. I took a deep breath and got out of my car. I approached the door and knocked. Aaron's smiling face appeared in the clear glass door.
"Hi, umm come in! Come in!" Aaron smiled.
I walked in and looked around...
