Supper, with a twist

Heather cooked dinner, turkey as not to offend Tuffnut's pet chicken, Chicken. We all ate in relative silence. Ambersky took a liking to Stormfly and Windshear and the three of them where flying around the island. Toothless was sleeping peacefully outside.

The turkey was great, cooked to perfection, and a nice change from eating fish so much. Heather's brother Dagur the Deranged joined us, but he didn't talk much, just stared at me mostly. Suddenly, he let out a hysterical laugh that startled me so bad that I fell out of my chair.

The others snickered. Dagur stood and helped me up. "Well, now I know why they call you 'Dagur the Deranged." I mumbled, taking his hand. His scruffy red hair looked nothing like Heather's raven black hair, it was hard to believe they were siblings.

"Sorry." Dagur smiled. "I wanted to know what you would do."

"I nearly peed myself, that's what." I said. The others laughed. I sat back down and bit into my turkey leg, blushing slightly with embarrassment.

I thought back to Ambersky, slightly missing her. I almost never do anything away from her. I was snapped back to reality when Tuffnut fell face first on the table. Okay, how did that happen? I thought.

Suddenly, Toothless ran in with Stormfly. Stormfly squacked, clearly distressed. I looked behind her and around in the air.

"Guys," I called to them. "Where is Windshear and Ambersky?"

Heather loomed terrified and rushed towards me. "We have to find them."

Hiccup and Astrid nodded curtly.

The riders called their dragons. Heather rode with Dagur on a 'Triple Stryke' dragon and Astrid invited me to ride with her. I was scared. I had just got my girl back, to lose Ambersky again? It was just too much....

"Let's go." Hiccup nodded and his metal foot clicked into Toothless' saddle. We took to the air, Stormfly in the front, leading us.

Stormfly squacked, cocking her head to the left. Soaring low to the trees we found Ambersky and Windshear, on the ground, growling with smoke curling around them. They were obviously in a fight, but with what, that was unknown.

We landed next to them and I sprinted to Ambersky. My dragon looked at me, her expression softening slightly as she noticed it was me.

"What is it, girl?" I asked her, climbing onto her saddle. Her head moved from side to side, surveying through the smoke. I reached for my sword, praying it wasn't dragon hunters and this was a trap. Then I saw what they were fighting, and it wasn't a dragon hunter. It was a dragon, a very dangerous one at that. I gasped as the dragon roared, a blast gathering in it's throat.

Phew. I just pulled this together last night and this morning. I totally forgot to write it earlier. Anyway, question for this week is, what dragon do you think it's going to be? It might be your suggestion, because honestly, I don't know what to put for it. Ok, time to go write Sea Scales for tomorrow!
