Luna's head shot up in surprise. I looked at her curiously. She focused her gaze on me. "Continue telling me about your family."

"Ok." I replied. "Well, my mother had a Soundshaker, named Rainflight."

She nodded and dug into her pack, pulling out strange objects.  She fixed them together as I spoke. Whenever I paused, looking at her curiously, she motioned with one hand for me to continue.

I then told her of things even Hiccup didn't know. I told her of what we were taught. How we bonded with our dragons when we were only 3 years old. How the dragons hatched in our laps. How each dragon egg was chosen specially for each child. I spoke of my old friends, talking like they were still alive, though deep in my mind, I knew they were gone forever. I smiled slightly when I remembered how we would bring our dragons everywhere. We would handfeed them.

"Alright." Luna said. Her contraption was finished. She glanced at me. "Oh, and duck." Confused,  I still listened to her. I pressed myself against Ambersky.  A hooked chain soared above my head.  She grabbed the chain and clipped it to her contraption. She made a signal for Seamor. He folded his wings and dropped out of the sky. 

She leaped out of her saddle and changed into a strange creature. I was still not used to her switching animals like that.  Just like a SwitchScales. I told myself.

She was a silver horse with a white mane and tail and pale pink feathers. She landed on Ambersky's wing and transformed back into a human. "You two take the flanking ships,  I'll take the lead vessel." She ordered,  then changed back into the horse and flew towards the east.  I looked down and saw dragon hunter ships,  the red crest causing me to seize up with panic. 

Ambersky flew towards the largest ship. I followed her instructions and dove towards the ship on the left. She sliced the mast with her wing and then shot fire at the hunters. They screamed and jumped into the water.

Then I heard a piercing whinny and saw a rope lasso around Luna's neck.

"No!" I screamed. Ambersky carried me out of range of the arrows and I felt like I had to dive down to save her, but my fear of the hunters held me back.

She whinnied again and someone smiled in front of her.

She changed into a human and he glared and her, unfazed.

"Krogan." She snarled.  My fear dissipated and I dived to save my friend.
