A New Rider

At first, I was too stunned to speak. Luna's wound didn't even seem to bother her, and the dragon she was on was so beautiful and colorful, I couldn't help but stare at it.

"Wha-How?" I asked her shakily.

"Coral helped me." Luna answered.

"Coral...?" I mumbled my mind still trying to comprehend that my best friend just flew out of the ocean on a dragon I had never seen before, and her wound had not hurt her at all.

"That's the dragon's name." Luna informed me, sliding off of it's back.

"She's beautiful." I breathed, taking a soft step towards her, my arm slowly extending. Coral pushed towards my hand, making a clicking noise.

"She likes you." Luna mentioned, appearing at my side.

"A SeaSlicer?"

"Yes." Luna said. "You know them?" The dragon was blue with rainbow colored wings.

"Natural enemies of the SmokeStriker. Anyway, let's get back to Hiccup and the others and we can see how Ambersky is." I told Luna, answering her first question.

She nodded and climbed back onto Coral. I slid onto BloodShadow, hoping I could get Hiccup to build her a saddle, as he liked to create things.

As we landed I saw that Ambersky was awake. She had a splint on her left wing and I figured that I would be flying BloodShadow more than I would be flying with Ambersky. I was sad that I wouldn't be able to fly with my girl, Ambersky. That was how I calmed down when I was stressed. No other dragon had the same affect on me. Still, I was a little excited to spend time with BloodShadow.

Hiccup was already telling me about how he planned on building me a home on the Edge close to the hospital hut, but still near the others so I could hurry to help the wounded or sick.

I then asked Luna the question that had been burning in the back of my mind. ''Luna, how are you, I don't know, not screaming in agony from your wound?"

"Very true. That is a good question. Luna, good woman, would you care to explain?" Tuffnut said, motioning for Luna to reply.

"I fell into the ocean and I'm the daughter of the water god, therefore the water healed me. I can show you." Luna explained.

"Are you sure you're alright?" I asked my friend.

"I'm fine." Luna said, but I heard her mumble, "Right now... "

"Luna..." I began.

"You acting like my big brother. Always worried about me and fainting over my injuries. It's kinda nice." Luna said.

"Well, most likely, like your brother, I care for you."

Luna smiled at me, then her eyes focused behind me.

I turned and saw the Smokestriker. "Great,I knew it would be back!"

"Get on your dragons!" Hiccup yelled. I instinctavely went to Ambersky, but then I stopped, remembering her wing injury. "Hiccup! The Smokestriker will go after Ambersky, it remembers her!"

Hiccup put his hand on his chin as he thought of how to help Ambersky. "Get her to a cave, we will hold it off. Luna go with Emily, she might need help. Come back as soon as you can, just make sure Ambersky is safe." I nodded and got onto Bloodshadow.

"WHAT THE EVERLOVING CRAP IS GOING ON!" Luna yelled.

Bloodshadow began to heave Ambersky into the air to carry her up the mountain to the caves.

"SmokeStriker! It remembers me and Ambersky. Since Ambersky can't fly, we need to get her to a safe place to stay while we fight. Help me with her!"

Coral began to pull Ambersky. The two dragons carried the Timberjack to the mountain on the island to hide in a cave.

Once we found one suitable for the large dragon, we left Ambersky there, which broke my heart, but I also knew it was neccessary. We soared out of the cave, I was on BloodShadow, and Luna was on Coral.

As soon as we arrived at the scene of battle, my eyes began to water from the smoke. I was used to smoke from dragonfire, but this smoke felt different to me, like it was more dangerous. My lungs burned as if I had breathed in a flame. It was hard to see as my eyes stung and tears blurred my vision.

YAY! Another chapter! Now I need to work on the next chapter so it's actually ON TIME! 

Anyway, I don't know how many people are actually reading this, except Luna. Thanks for supporting me, this book probably wouldn't be continuing if it wasn't for you! Also thanks for helping me with some of your lines!

Ok, time for the question! Favorite movie? I don't know if I have asked this question, but mine is The Princess Bride! Also, should I do the pictures like I did in the begining of the book?
