Ambersky and I flew slightly behind the others. Luna and Hiccup were catching up, talking about where Luna had gone and why she had returned.

I only caught a few words, but it included "dragon eyes" and "missing lenses". Why are they talking about dragon anatomy? I wondered vaguely.

Snotlout urged his dragon closer to me. "Did they abandon you? That's ok, you still have me."

I considered telling Ambersky to Wingslice the horns off of Snotlout's helmet, but then I thought better of it, for if we missed we might hurt Hookfang.

We landed and dismounted from our dragons.

Our food was cold, but we ate anyway, Luna joining us.

I stayed mostly silent, observing the newcomer quietly.

She was strange, and her dragon was too. They were unlike anything I have ever seen.

"What type of dragon is he?" I spoke up, gesturing to Seamor.

"He is his own species, something I like to call a SeaStinger. His tail can paralyze you, and he can shoot boiling water at his enemies."

I stayed near Ambersky. I was so scared that she would be attacked again.

"The SmokeStriker will be back." I warned.

Hiccup looked interested. "SmokeStriker?"

"That dragon that was attacking. That was a SmokeStriker. They never forget when they are attacked. It may be years later, but they will hunt you down. That specific one attacked Ambersky and me years ago. We accidentally gave it that scar. It attacked us while on a fly with my father. We must have gotten disoriented in its smoke. Anyway, it knocked out Whirlwind, my father's dragon. He fell out of the sky."

I closed my eyes, recalling the memory. "I was so scared when my father fell. It flew at me and used its tail blade to try to cut my neck. I lifted my sleeve to show them the scar. I dodged in time for it to only hit my shoulder. It hurt like Helheim." I rubbed the scar.

"Hade....s...right, Norse... forgot.." Luna mumbled.

I gave her a curious glance before continuing. "Ambersky panicked. I was injured. She tried to dodge it as it attacked her. In an effort to protect me, she sliced at it's wing. We thought it was gone. The guilt had haunted me for a year.... Ambersky brought me to my father, who was on the ground. He wrote a note and tied it to Ambersky's horn."

"Hey, I did that with Hookfang when I kidnapped Gustav." Dagur complained.

"Wait, what?" I questioned.

"Ignore him. " Hiccup shook his head.

"Anyway.... it explained what had happened and said that he would be back as soon as Whirlwind was able to fly again. I was sent to our healer, Silas. Father returned and after a month of wearing bandages, I was healed, but it still left that scar."

Goodness. I thought I was going to be early finally. That was lies. But I did reorganize my bookshelf, which I'm going to have to do again in 3-10 business days from BookOutlet, because I got like 12 books from there for like $37. It's great. (I'm not sponsored or anything, I'm just super excited). They are awesome, anyway, thanks for reading!! Bye!
