A/N: An even shorter chapter, don't hate me XD

Kirstie begins her search for Avi at Endeavour Studios, she figures it's a good place to start since every photo of him since he left PTX has been in the forest or here.
She enters to find minimal staff at work, sure it was a small place and didn't have much staff to begin with, but she was hoping to find Marissa or Noah, or at best Aleen. She has to remember though that is barely the New Year so of course they have skeleton staff for things like taking studio bookings. Kirstin is very disappointed.
The only saving grace is the business cards on the front desk. She takes one with Marissa's name and one with Aleen's; she'll be ringing them later if her next stop comes up short.

Kirstie parks by the entrance that Avi has always said leads to the best and biggest trees in National Sequoia Park. This is a long shot, but this is still Avi, and when Avi gets stressed he comes here, that's a truth Trisha could never make her doubt.
She has blocked out the day for this one, she's brought a book and her phone. She plans to read and make those calls that need to be made. She would also try calling Avi again even though she knows he won't pick up. Here's hoping Marissa or Aleen do, and here's hoping one of them knows something.
Kirstie kicks her feet up on the dashboard and reclines her chair just so she can see the beginning of the path over the top of her book, she'll only need to glance up every so often.
There's not much movement, but every time there is her eyes snap up, groups of people and people walking dogs. She figures Avi will be alone and she knows he doesn't have a pet. So she keeps waiting. She eats her snacks and she waits, she reads her book and she waits, patiently. But Avi never shows up.
As it's getting darker she leaves knowing only complete fools would go walking in the dark, and if Avi were that stupid she'll catch him elsewhere.

Kirstie has called both Aleen and Marissa. Marissa has promised to call back because she is busy at that moment, fair enough, Kirstie felt lucky she'd answered on the first try. Aleen has yet to pick up and Kirstie isn't sure how many times is too many times to call, she is at four. She has to wonder if Aleen has her number and so isn't answering because it's Kirstie, like Avi is. Or maybe Aleen is someone who doesn't answer unknown numbers, she wouldn't blame her but this is urgent, Kirstie is starting to really worry. At least she has the promise of Marissa's call back, that is another small step in the right direction, well if Marissa knows anything.

A/N: Do you guys reckon Marissa knows anything?
