A/N: Sorry it's short, but this one's for you unicornTM :D

Avi pulls the door shut behind them. "It's lucky we ate already," he comments as she sits down on the bed.
     "Mmm," she replies.
     "You okay?"
She shakes her head, "I don't want to get back together with Jeremy."
Avi frowns, sitting down beside her, "No one said you had to Kirst." He can tell that she's trying really hard not to cry so he rubs her back comfortingly.
"It's why he's here," she hiccups, "And you saw that just then, he's already trying to get back in my bed." She stares at the back of the door, "That's part of the reason you're in here, he can't try and sneak in in the middle of the night if you're in the bed with me."
     "Would he do that?"
"I don't know, he might have tried, I wouldn't put it past him and then I wouldn't put it past myself to do something stupid just because it's familiar." Her hands shoot up to flick away tears before he sees them; she's not quite quick enough.
"I think you're stronger than that," Avi tells her.
"Not when it comes to him, I spent three years of my life with him, we were going to get married for god sake," the tears are getting harder to wipe away, reappearing too quickly.
Avi shakes his head, "No way Kirst, you are stronger than that."
"How do you know?" She sniffs.
"Because you're a total badass, I mean you have me whipped and we're not even in a relationship," he chuckles.
     This does make Kirstie smile.
"Kirst, you were so strong out there just before, swatting away all his moves, you can't forget that," he smiles.
"Gosh, why are you being so nice to me? God knows I haven't been very nice to you," she frowns, keeping her eyes down on her fidgeting hands.
"I think you more than made up for it today," Avi smiles. "Come on, let's watch a movie or something?"
     Kirstie nods, "And cuddle?"
He frowns, "Uhh, I don't think that's a very good idea."
She pulls her puppy face, "Please I really need it."
Avi gives in with a sigh, "Fine, but this means I get to pick the movie."
     "Anything but the Hobbit."
     "Damn it Kirstie."
     "Or Lord of the Rings."
"Okay then, just ruin my life why don't you."

A/N: Is Kirstie overstepping the mark, or pushing him just enough?

Another chapter of this may be up sooner if I can't write something for AVI, because thus far I've just stared at my notebook for almost two hours XD
