A/N: If I'm correct in counting (because I never labeled the chapters in the my notebook on this story) then there's only five chapters left after this one :o

When Avi walks through the arrival gate he spots Kirstie, he'd be happy except it's a bad reason that he spots her so easily. She is surrounded by a gaggle of fans. So he calmly makes his way to the bathroom to hide. He texts Kirstie so that she knows he's here, she just needs to escape the fans.

Kirstie: Just put your sunglasses on and turn your snapback around the right way
Avi: Because the beards not obvious??
Kirstie: Right, well what does it actually matter? You could be coming to see my show?
Avi: I guess so
Kirstie: I'll still try and get away from them

Avi takes off his snapback entirely; he wears it so much that it'd be less obvious to just have his hair out. And sunglasses inside always looks stupid, but he pushes them up on his head for when he gets outside. He slides his hand through his snapback so it sits on his wrist and leaves the bathroom.
     Kirstie has managed to get away from most of the fans, she is still taking pictures with the last stragglers as Avi slowly makes his way over.
     He takes the effort as far as to look in the opposite direction when the fans turn around. He could literally be any bearded man with long hair, he didn't have his guitar, so how could he possibly be Avi Kaplan right?
     Avi and Kirstie make a run for it when she is finally left alone, they literally run and Avi absolutely does not hear someone call out his name. When you think about it, how many people would actually believe your online post stating that you saw Kirstie and Avi running through an airport together? You may even have a blurry pic, it'd be very tough to believe though based on the rumours of them hating each other.
     The two of them manage to get into Kirstie's car without further incident. Not wanting to waste time, Avi gets in bag and all then shoves it between the passenger and driver's seat into the back.
    "Are we blasting Shania again?" Avi asks.
     Kirstie smirks, "You know it! She is now the official Kavi jam, you do realise," she laughs.
     Avi smiles, "Who are you using the word Kavi positively?"
     "Shut-up," she giggles as they pull out. "How was your trip?"
     Avi's mood immediately dampens; he knows he'll have to tell her, he just hoped it wouldn't come up so son. He chooses to start with the only positive. "The walk was amazing, I loved it, it was beautiful, everything I hoped for and more," he smiles, "Did you see the story about the dog on insta?"
     "George the Skullcrusher? Yes, yes I did," she smiles in reply.
     "Oh that name was Brad," he sighs. "Yeah it was a great walk... but..." he trails off, his hesitant tone worries Kirstin, "Everything else not so much."
     Any trace of Kirstie's smile vanishes. "We'll talk about it when we get home," she is almost short with him, she doesn't know if she should be mad or not, she hasn't heard a single word of the story yet. But it's just his tone, it's troubling, it worries her, she wonders if she's going to have to sit on him again.
     "Okay," Avi nods in response. "I caught up with Kevin, and he was saying he's coming to see Kinky Boots not this Friday, but the Friday after and he's bringing Leigh."
     "Oh," she half smiles, she's excited for Kevin to see her show, but she's so preoccupied thinking about Avi's little trip.
     And she misses her opportunity to ask Avi why he hasn't been to the show.
