Alicia was having lots of issues sleeping. When Matt wasn't staying over, she had frequent nightmares and didn't get any sleep. She didn't want to tell him this, though. She wasn't sure what they were and she didn't want to bring any baggage into something so new.
It had been three weeks since the incident with Tony and her and Matt were closer than ever before. They didn't explicitly label anything and were sorta just doing their own thing. They both wanted to test out the waters and see how things would go.
The issue with Matt and Alicia was that they were both extremely relaxed people, yet were super stubborn. They were both the kind of person that holds things in until they can't take it anymore. That's the main reason it took them so long to get together.
Andrea and Joba were going really well as a couple. They were really in tune with each other and their emotions and this was really good for them. When they were mad about something, they were open about it from the beginning.
Their relationship was really strong because of how communicative they were. At the end of the day, they both loved each other a lot. They hadn't ever officially said that to each other, but anyone could see how crazy they were about each other. They were like a match made in heaven.
The couples had spent the past three weeks just enjoying each other's company. Ian was really happy for Alicia and Matt, even though he was lowkey salty that it had taken them so long to get together. Alicia hadn't told the rest of the Brockhampton guys what had happened to her because she wanted to leave that in the past.
She sat with Matt in the car as he drove, his hand resting on her thigh. She played with his fingers absentmindedly as she sang along to the music he was playing. It was an old Kanye track that brought her back to high school. She laced her fingers with his and pressed small kisses to his knuckles lovingly.
Matt smiled to himself as he drove. The two were completely infatuated with each other. He squeezed her hand, rubbing with his thumb lightly. They grabbed some food from their favorite drive-thru before heading back to Alicia's apartment.
They plopped down onto her couch, eating their food happily and watching old episodes of The Office. They laughed along to the show. Matt sneezed and dropped his fries everywhere, making Alicia fall back on the couch in laughter.
"Fuck!" He groaned, picking them up and throwing them away.
Alicia clutched her stomach as she laughed loudly.
"You can have mine!" Alicia yelled in between laughs.
Matt laughed along with her, crashing down on top of her and hiding his face in her neck. She wrapped her arms around him, still laughing. He smirked, placing his hand on her hip before beginning to tickle her. She screamed, trying to wiggle off of the couch.
"Stop!" she yelled, laughing uncontrollably.
Matt couldn't help but laugh with her, ceasing his tickling and tucking her hair behind her ear.
"That was mean. I offered you my fries, rat."
"Sorry, couldn't help it."
"Next time you try that shit I'll unfriend you." She joked, pouting mockingly.
"I'll keep that in mind." Matt mumbled, taking her cheek in his hand before pressing his lips softly against hers.
Meanwhile, Joba and Andrea were at the mall shopping for new clothes. They walked through the stores, holding hands and swinging their arms as they walked. They stopped at a few of their favorite stores, like Urban Outfitters, and each picked up a couple of pieces before heading back to the Brockhampton house.
"Oh, y'all went shopping. Watch out." Romil joked as the couple entered the house.
"We boutta flex on the basics." Andrea laughed, posing mockingly.
She followed Joba into his room, the two crashing onto his bed.
"Did you finish working on Roy's stuff?" Joba asked, absentmindedly playing with her hair.
"I did, and he said he liked it, but I lowkey feel like he's saying that to not hurt my feelings."
"Why do you say that?"
"I don't know, sometimes my work just never feels good enough I guess? Like something's always missing." Andrea explained with a shrug. Joba kissed her cheek lovingly, shaking his head.
"You need to believe in your work more. You're so talented, carebear. Everyone else sees it."
Andrea blushed at his comment, cuddling into his chest. He chuckled, wrapping an arm around her.
"I love you." She mumbled, looking up at him.
He was surprised that she had said it so soon. He felt the exact same way but he wasn't sure if the timing was right to tell her.
"I love you too." He whispered, lifting her chin and meeting her lips with his.
She was extremely relieved that he felt the same way. She didn't want to scare him away by dropping the love bomb so soon, but she was a pretty honest and open person. She was really in tune with her emotions and she usually said how she felt. Her feelings for Joba were no exception.
There was a loud knock at the door, making the two of them pull away from the kiss with a groan.
"I hope you're clothed because I'm coming in!" Ian yelled, opening the door. Andrea and Joba both blushed as he walked in.
"We have a problem." Ian said, crossing his arms.
"Andrea, your birthday is next week and you didn't
tell anyone.""Oh, hehe. I didn't want to make a big deal out of it."
"We're definitely making a big deal out of it." Joba said, crossing his arms.
"We are throwing you a major party and anyone that you don't hate is invited." Ian insisted, raising an eyebrow.
"That list won't be very long." Andrea joked, making Ian and Joba laugh.
"Seriously, we have to do something special. Anything you wanna do, let us know." Joba mumbled, taking her hand in his.
"This is gonna sound so cheesy, but can we go bowling?"
"Yes! That's it, bowling it is. Confirmed, done deal. Actually, better yet, drunk bowling."
"You really think it's a good idea to be drunk holding bowling balls?" Joba asked, raising an eyebrow.
"No, but we're doing it anyways." Ian shrugged, the three of them laughing.
