Joba and Andrea packed the bags and stuffed them in the car.
"Are you sure we should leave?" Andrea said looking around frantically.
"Yes Andrea, I don't want you to worry anymore. Plus, I don't want to risk him coming back." Joba said, rubbing her back soothingly.
She nodded and walked to Alicia and Matt who were packing and putting stuff in their car too.
"Hey." Andrea said waving over to them.
"Hi" Alicia said not looking up.
"I'm sorry, Ali. I had no right to mention Ricky. I know that was a really rough time for you and a lot of people had access to things they shouldn't have."
"Me neither. I was just worried. Just because Matt's my boyfriend doesn't mean I should tell him your shit too. I'm sorry."
"Let's just both shut the fuck up for once." Andrea said, giving her a hug as the two erupted into laughter.
Alicia hugged her tightly.
"We should go. I don't want anything to happen." Andrea said, giving Matt and Alicia a final hug before going into the car with Joba.
They all started driving on the highway, Alicia and Matt behind Joba and Andrea.
Andrea was gripping her seatbelt, her car anxiety was getting the best of her but she wanted to stay awake. She couldn't go to sleep.
Joba was trying his best to drive smoothly but he couldn't exactly do that on the highway.
A few minutes passed and Andrea was starting to calm down by talking to Joba. She tried her best to forget exactly why they were leaving.
A red car quickly cut in front Alicia and Matt, almost hitting them.
"Fuck!" Matt yelled, slamming on the brakes and holding his arm out to stop Alicia from jerking forwards.
Alicia's gaze rose from her phone, she wasn't that worried since people in Malibu drive crazy. But the car was a bit nostalgic, yet she didn't know why.
Andrea looked at the rearvew mirror, her heart dropped. She recognized that car and the person inside it.
"Fuck, that's Cody. That's Malibu guy." Andrea gasped.
"Joba merge onto that lane." Andrea said looking behind her.
"There's like no space." Joba said worriedly looking over to Andrea.
"Just do it!" Andrea said her voice choking up as she saw the car speed closer to them.
Joba merged onto the lane quickly. The red car increased its speed and in a second was next to them. Joba was now glancing over but there was a car right in front of them so he couldn't speed up. Matt and Alicia noticed what was going on and Matt sped up behind Joba. Alicia was on the verge of tears as she imagined the fear Andrea had. They hit traffic, the red car a few feet in front of them.
"Get out. I need to drive." said Alicia, unbuckling her seatbelt. The two switched places and she put her hands on the steering wheel and took a deep breath. She called Andrea, her hands trembling.
"Get in my car now. I can get you out, but I need to drive like a maniac. It's either that or this guy finds out where you're living in LA." Alicia muttered, knuckles white as she gripped the steering wheel with her free hand.
Matt looked at his girlfriend, eyes wide as he listened to what she was saying. Was she going insane? Andrea sneakily crawled out of the back seat and ran down to their car, hopping in and laying down in the backseat.
"Close your eyes, Andrea." Alicia, turning up the radio's volume. She was listening to Flatbush Zombies and the familiar songs helped Andrea calm down. Alicia took a deep breath before hoping on the shoulder and flooring it. She saw the red car sneak around and do the same thing.
She swerved around cars, hopping into the highway lanes and back onto the shoulder. Matt watched in horror as she narrowly avoided multiple collisions. He didn't say a word because he knew it would freak Andrea out. She smirked when she saw a car that looked just like there's, stopping and pulling up behind them.
The car sped up, trying to get away from her crazy driving antics. She stayed slow, hoping that the other car would confuse Cody into thinking it was them.
Her plan worked. She blended in with the rest of the cars on the highway as Cody chased the car that was now way in front of them. Alicia let out a breath she didn't even know she was holding, lowering the radio volume.
"I can't believe we're not dead right now." Matt mumbled, eyes wide.
"Thank you Miami for my driving skills." Alicia giggled, cracking her knuckles.
"No, I'm literally sweating. What the fuck is wrong with you? This isn't normal." Matt continued, running his fingers through his hair. Andrea sat up, wiping away her tears and exhaling in relief.
"Thanks, Alicia. We would've been fucked if you didn't drive like a crackhead." Andrea laughed, hugging her from behind.
Alicia giggled, pulling off at their exit and driving to the Brockhampton house. She wanted to make sure they weren't still being followed. They parked at the house, grabbing the bags that were in the back and walking into the house.
Ian greeted them excitedly before he saw the looks on their faces. "What the fuck happened to you guys?"
"Well, that's Andrea's story to tell. I'm dazed because I just found out my girl might as well be in Fast and Furious." Matt blinked, walking up the stairs. Alicia rolled her eyes and laughed, running up the stairs behind him.
Andrea sighed, sitting down with Ian and explaining everything that had happened. He hugged her tightly, promising that Ameer would protect her because he was the only one hard enough to do so. She laughed, wiping away the stray tears that had fallen as she had told the story.
Joba arrived at the house like thirty minutes after they had, eyes wide.
"How the fuck did she do that? How are y'all not wrecked on the side of the road?" Joba asked, embracing her immediately. She hugged him back, hiding her face in his neck.
"She's a fucking lunatic." Andrea laughed, hugging him tighter.
"I'm gonnna keep you safe." Joba mumbled, rubbing her lower back.
"I love you."
"I love you too."
