The next morning was weird. Alicia and Matt had continued the argument from last night before Matt got annoyed and left, leaving Alicia in her bed contemplating everything.

She didn't feel like she was crazy for feeling this way. She loved Matt more than anything, but asking her to put her job on hold to tour with him, especially when she would be able to visit him frequently, was really unfair.

When Andrea didn't see them at breakfast, she knocked on her door cautiously before walking in. Alicia was under her covers, curled up into a ball.

"Where's Matt?" Andrea wondered, crossing her arms.

"He left." Alicia answered flatly, pulling the covers tighter around her.

"What's going on?" Andrea sighed, climbing into bed next to her.

"We got into a huge fight about touring and he was fucking saying that I don't care about us as much as he does, which isn't even fucking true. I don't know what to do." Alicia mumbled, tears forming in her eyes.

"He said that it sucks to be in love with someone that doesn't love you. I told him I'd fly to see him whenever I have the chance and I tried to explain where I was coming from but he was so hurt.
I'm literally so fucking in love with him and he doesn't see it."

This was their first big fight. They had been pretty much smooth sailing  for the past few months and she was honestly taken back by it. They were usually on the same page. She didn't know what move to make to benefit them both.

"Alicia, I'm sorry, but Matt is putting you in a really shitty position. You were willing to fly to him any week you were free and he still didn't want to compromise. That's not cool." Andrea sighed, pulling her into a hug. Alicia sighed, rubbing at her eyes tiredly.

"I know he's not being an asshole, it's just because he loves me and wants me to be there for him because this tour is huge for him, but I can't just leave work behind."

Andrea nodded, hugging her tightly before pulling away.

"Look, you both need some time to think everything over. Give it a few days, you'll be back to normal in no time." Andrea smiled, patting her back playfully before standing and leaving the room, closing the door behind her.

She walked back to Joba, explaining the whole situation. Joba sighed, ruffling his hair.

"Matt was supposed to fucking wait. I hadn't
even gotten the chance to ask you the same thing."

"You want me to go on tour with you?" Andrea asked, raising an eyebrow.

"I really do, if you can." Joba smiled, reaching for her hand.

"I think we can figure something out." She smirked, taking his face in her hands and kissing him passionately. He kissed her back, wrapping his arms around her waist.

Meanwhile, Matt was laying in his bed thinking about everything. He felt like shit for exploding on her, but he felt like she just didn't care about anything sometimes. It really frustrated him.

He knew he was being extra about the whole thing, and that she had been more than willing to fly to wherever they were at to see his shows when she had a little less work, but part of him wished that they could be like everyone else. He hated fighting with her, and his thoughts were eating away at his head.

-

A few days had passed since the fight and neither Matt or Alicia had made an effort to contact the other. They were both extremely non-confrontational and seeking the other made them both anxious.

Alicia had been kind of a wreck during the time spent away from each other. She wanted to text him so badly, but she knew he needed his space. Matt was an extremely pensive person and she didn't want to interrupt anything or get him more upset.

Upon reflection, Matt had come to the realization that he was in the wrong and he felt really bad about it. Andrea had called him and yelled at him for taking so long to seek her out, She wasn't happy with Matt either right now.

He honestly felt like an asshole, but he didn't know how to approach her without making her upset. He decided to just pull off the band-aid and knock on her front door. Andrea was the one who opened it, crossing her arms in annoyance.

"What do you want?" She asked flatly, raising an eyebrow.

"I came to talk with Alicia." Matt sighed, scratching the back of his neck nervously.

"Wow, took you long enough." Andrea rolled her eyes, letting him in and retreating to her room.

Matt took a deep breath before walking into Alicia's room. The lights were off, but she had her record player on so he knew she was awake.

"Ali, can we talk?" Matt asked softly, sitting on the edge of her bed.

"I don't have the energy to fight with you again." She mumbled, hiding her face in her pillow.

"No fighting, I came to say I'm really fucking sorry. It was unfair to make you choose between me and work. I know how important it is to you and I shouldn't have asked you to do that."

"That's not even what pissed me off the most. You act like you're the only one that really cares about us,
and that isn't fucking true. I've been a fucking mess these last few days because you left. I'm so fucking in love with you, and the fact that you think I couldn't care less makes me really fucking angry." Alicia sniffled, pulling the covers over her frame.

"Baby, I know you care. I was just frustrated and I took it out on you. I'm sorry." Matt sighed, resting his hand on her calf.

"Whatever." Alicia mumbled, curling into a ball under the covers.

Matt sighed, standing from the edge of the bed. He walked towards the door, feeling like shit for hurting her.

"Who told you to leave?" She asked, pulling the covers down.

"You want me to stay?" Matt asked, visibly surprised.

Alicia shrugged, Matt smiling softly, kicking off his shoes and slipping off his shirt before laying down next to her. He pulled her close against his chest, arms around her. She cried into his chest softly, him running his fingers through her hair and kissing the top of her head.

"I'm sorry." He whispered, feeling extremely guilty for making her feel this way.

"I know."

"I love you."

"I know."

Alicia lifted her gaze to meet his, seeing the hurt in his eyes. She knew she shouldn't forgive him so quickly, but she hated fighting with him.

She took his face in her hand, rubbing his cheek with her thumb. She pecked his lips softly, hiding her face in his neck. The two fell asleep in each other's arms, emotionally drained.
