Sunday night:

I wake up to bright lights and the sound of beeping. I wince as I open my eyes and see the light. My head is pounding and my body is aching. I look around slowly but my vision is blurry. As I make out the figures who are hovering above me I fall back into a deep sleep.

"Mom! Mommmm!" I scream as I'm looking around irritantly to spot my mom.

"Ana!"

I woke up to the images and shouts from the night before. My eyes snap open when I see someone is sleeping in the chair next to me. I check the time and its 10:57pm and I look back at the chair. I try to speak but my voice is shaky and I barely make out my words. "H-h-hel-lo " I manage to spit out and the eyes open slowly and flicker in my direction. At thats when I make out the face. It's the boy from the hallway. The boy that lives across the street. The boy that welcomed me with his brother. What was his name again?

Ethans POV

"I'll ge-" I try to say before she cuts me off. "Ethan?" She says in question. "Yes?" I ask curiously serious. She is looking into my eyes and I look back, not wanting to break the contact. I finally do when I see her wince in pain. I stand up and walk over to her.

Anastasia's POV
"Ethan?" I say in question. "yes?" He answers back and I look over at him. I look into his eyes. They were hazel but had a hint of sorrow in them. I hold contact until I feel pain in my arm. I notice he gets up and slowly walks over to me. "Do I need to get the nurse?" He asks and I shake my head. I take a breath and look up at him. He was sort of beautiful. He had that gentle tone in him again and it was comforting.

But Suddenly I realize where I'm at. My eyes flicker around the room and my breathing starts to speed up and shorten. I was hyperventilating. "Ana, you are going to be okay." I look in Ethans direction and close my eyes shut. I feel pain in my arm again and grab something to hold on to. I feel a warm and soft object under me and I open my eyes. It was his hand. He looks down at our fingers interlocking and I see a little smile, he looks at me and he puts his other hand on top of ours. "You are going to be okay. " He ensures and I nod. I close my eyes And before I drift to sleep I here his hushed voice...

"I'm here with you."
