Ana's POV.

"I-i love you too." I whisper in a raspy, cracking voice and cough.

My ears ring, then suddenly all i hear is the screeching sound of sirens. I slightly open my eyes and squint, my eyes sensitive to the flashing lights that flicker before me.

I try to sit up, but my head is dizzy. I try to focus and i glance down next to me.

All I am able to see is a red blur and I close my eyes again and look out the shattered window.

The door opens and I am gently touched on the arm by the blonde with no face. "We are going to get both of you out safely. Stay with me." She says and her words slur together and i can't figure out what she is saying

Two hands grab at my waist and shoulder and i wince as my body aches. They cut off my safety belt, and lifted me out of the car.

Unfamiliar faces hurry by and my head starts pound and pain rushes up my leg. I smell gasoline, smoke, and the salty copper scent of blood.

But I stand still, watching the flashing lights light up the now dark and starless sky. I drop my eyes and I look down at my white top, and I blink several times to readjust my eyes. It's red. And wet.

Ethan!

"We need help over here!" I hear a man yell out over the sirens and murmurs and i swallow hard. No no no !

I follow the man, hobbling and limping behind him, to see where ethan is. "Ma'am you nee-" "Ethan?" I say in confusion and push pass people.

A man grabs my arm and holds me back and i try to push him off. But that's when I look down. NO!

I freeze... My chest tightens, and I feel as if my lungs have collapsed, causing my breath too hitch; not breathing entirely. My heart shatters, and i can feel  where t has been ripped apart into tiny pieces, and burning into the fire that has started at the bottom of my lungs.

I drop to my knees, my hands touching the wet, cold pavement and I struggle to breath. Sobs start to escape my mom, and that seems like the only way air finally reached my lungs.

Blood streamed down his face with a pool of blood surroundings him entirely. He lays there on the concrete road, motionless, with his face pale and his body frail; Almost as if he was dead.

I look down at my hands, and see thick, red liquid cover my hands and my knees. "N-n- NoOoO!" I scratched out, my voice shaky and dry and I feel my body shake with every sob.

I watch as the men carefully pick up his lifeless and feeble body and place him on a Gurnee and strap him on, getting ready to load him up.

"Ethan!" I scream as I reach out to him and grab his cold hand, but was ripped from him by a man in blue.

They put something in his mouth, then place a bag- mask ventilator on his face, pumping every few minutes and run pass me, pushing pedestrians out of the way as they hurry.

The wind started to pick up, and soon dirt and leaves fly up in the air and everyone's voices are mute. I hear the sound of propellers at full speed, slowing down by the second, and i look behind me.
"o my knees and wail as the pain rushes up my leg again.

I look down, blood covering my jeans, and struggle to move my leg. A man crouches down before me, examines my leg, then waves the paramedics over.

"Ankle seems to be broken, and knees is dislocated. The Cut is from the crash maybe..." I hear him explain over the chaos.

My mind focuses on the word "crash". And soon I try to remember what had happened, but my thoughts were interrupted by a pain in my head.

I grab at my head and clench my teeth as I place my hand over a wet, burning, bump and I flinch. He takes a look at my I hey shakes his head then looks into my eyes. "They are Dilating and she has a minor gash near her temple." He speaks and the other man nods.

"We need to get her to the nearest hospital now." A man yelled and in an instant all I see is bright florescent lights and I am held down on a bed with a man above me.

The ride is bumpy, and my head throbs as tears run down my red stained cheeks. I lay my head back, feeling the pain in my chest again and close my eyes... Soon blacking out again.

To be continued
