Life long dreams

Frank proved himself to be quite the excellent chef. He made delicious mahi mahi, with basmati rice and sweet potatoes. The most shocking thing, all under 15 minutes. I drank some water while he had a dark red punch; I never asked what kind though, not wanting to pry.

While eating the food, we had a wonderful conversation about where we would move if possible and money were no option. I of course answered with one of my life long dreams; buying a plot in northern Montana on the side of a mountain (being a very mountainous region), having a decent size house, a large dog, and ideally someone to share it with. When explaining all of my non-necessary details to him, Frank continued to smile and at least look like he was invested into what I was saying.

Frank's answer to what his ideal situation shocked me. He wants a family with those he loves, mentioning Gee with a smile on his face, with a nice house in a non-crowded area, also with a dog (preferably multiple).

"I already have quite a bit of that now being with Gee and all," I could tell he looked confused while speaking form the slight furrow in his brow. "and I love him so much, and we will be together forever, but it always felt like there was something missing."

"Well you said you wanted dogs, that could be the thing missing." I smirked at him playfully, chuckling as he spoke.

Frank giggles softly at my attempt of a joke, before speaking again. "Possibly....we should go soon, being 1:47." He smiled, reaching out to grab my hand, lightly stroking his thumb on the back of my hand. "Now, what time do you need to be picked up from the library darling?"

I felt my face fluster and looked down to my legs where our hand were entwined. With all of these things he's done and continues to do to me, it's exhilarating. I mentally chuckled when recalling that with Gee, and feeling is twice as strong. "Uhm, around 5 is fine? Thank you yet again. I know you said not to feel guilty or as if I'm taking a toll on your life and that you love driving me around, but I still feel guilty."

Frank cooed at that. "Lovely, I love spending time with you, whether it's driving you around, or just chilling out. Gee feels the same way despite only meeting you twice. Shall we go now darling?" He grinned sheepishly, gently pulling my hand as he stood up, offering me his other hand as well. I bashfully accepted his hand as we stood from the table.

"Do you want me to leave the plate here? I could always come after 5 and wash them for you." I offered him, quickly speaking again to cut him off as I could tell he would reject the offer. "And no, I'm not asking because I feel guilty or anything; think of it as a way to almost...re-pay for driving and feeding me."

He scrunched his face as if he was thinking about it, looking very deep in thought. "Suuure, but my spidey-senses are telling me otherwise. But alas my dear, no. You will do no such thing; think of it as a way to almost... be my gift to you." He smirked when relaying my words back to me.

His hand only left mine when opening the doors to the hallway, stairwell, and outside.

<Do you guys want Frank's pov or someone else's pov next chapter? I'm debating on whether to do it or not do it. I don't know, all I know is that I'm dead tired and that I'd feel guilty for not uploading at all. Thanks for reading though! And i apologize that this is shorter than the usual. Anyways....Laterz!>
