Reaching the roof, I was in complete awe with what I saw. On the side of the conditioning and staff storage room, there was a large white blanket pulled over it. Across from it, laid an older couch with tons of blankets and pillows, with a tall table with a projector sat behind it. Also, on the side to all of the amazing set ups, there was a fire going in a overground fire pit, with all the necessities for s'mores beside it.
"Do you like it?" When Gee was asking me, I could hear the nervousness in his voice. Feeling myself unable to respond, I turned to look at Frank and Gee. They could probably tell from the slacked jaw, wonder-lust eyes, and expression of bliss that I loved it.
Trying to answer them, all I could feel was stuttering making it's way up my throat. Almost giving up on answering them for a moment, I walked over to them and pulled them into a hug. I felt Frank exhale a large breath of air as I hugged him and I chuckled to myself; it sounded like a thunderstorm almost with my head on his chest. Finally feeling the not so great feeling of butterflies leaving, I could answer.
"Oh my gosh. This is absolutely amazing. How- why? This looks like it took forever to do, how long did it take? Actually maybe you shouldn't tell me because I'd feel guilty for the time it took." As if they could sense I was going to ramble on from the nicest gesture I've ever received, they both kissed me on the forehead. Such a small act like that ended my rambling.
Once past the awkwardness of silence while walking towards the couch were over, Frank and I cuddled while Gee set up a movie. Hearing the low hum of the projector starting, all I could do was wonder what movie it was. Seeing the start of What We Do in The Shadows, I sighed in relief. I loved this movie.
Since they're so good at reading at me, they seemed to realize I liked the movie, and shot each other a grin. Once Gee got settled on the couch, we were both cuddled into Frank's sides. Around halfway through the movie, Frank seemed to notice me shiver, and covered me with another blanket and pulled me into his lap. As he pulled me into his chest, Gee smiled at me and I couldn't refrain myself from blushing. Gee, now being closer to me, held my hand with his thumb rubbing the back of it.
Once the movie was over, I was extremely comfortable. We were all entangled with each other yet again, with Frank leaning back on a 45 degree angle against the side of the couch, myself on Frank's lap, and Gee at the other end of the couch.
"So, do you want s'mores darling?" When asking me, Gee had a genuine smile on his face which I returned to him.
"Sounds great."
Moving over to the fire pit, we brought along the blankets to keep warm. Gee and I started making s'mores, while Frank turned off and disconnected the projector. He soon joined us making them, as we made conversation on aliens and other super natural being on whether we believe in certain ones or not.
After the eventful conversation on the supernatural world, we fell to a comfortable silence as the fire was dying. "Thank you for tonight. This really was all unexpected."
"Awh gorgeous it's no problem. We'd would love to spoil you if you'd let us." When Frank spoke, he seemed to hold a sincerity in his voice. I wanted to burst out laughing.
"Ok." When I was responding to him, I tried so hard to contain the laughter that was boiling inside me.
"What's so funny?" Gee then asked sounding majorly confused. That made me burst out laughing. The other two shot each other a look of confusion then.
"oh it's nothing I'm just thinking." Their faces furrowed upon that, but they seemed to let it go.
Once the fire died out and it was 11:10, we walked back towards my apartment. I was dead tired at this point. When Frank offered me a piggy back ride down the hallway, I accepted, knowing it meant I didn't have to walk. Once I was on his back, all I could focus on was how tired I was, and how comfortable I was. I made the mistake of blinking, but I drifted off into a deep slumber.
<Thoughts? Thanks for reading! Also, I started a new book called mafia capo (Frank Iero)! Please give it a chance if you feel like it. Laterz!>
