Chapter 23

You dragged Niall by the hand down to the beach.

You had made him get into his swimsuit just so you two could go swimming.

"Hurry up Niall! I wanna swim!" You exclaimed.

"I'm coming! I'm coming!" He called up to you.

You let go of his hand, planning to go ahead and meet him at the beach.

He was back walking with (S/N) and Sarah.

"How do you deal with her." (S/N) asked.

"She's annoying but I love her." Niall said with a smile.

"Ugh, I need a boyfriend like that." Sarah commented.

"You'll find one eventually." Niall reassured.

They eventually caught up to you.

"Took you guys long enough!" You exclaimed.

"We were going as fast as we wanted to." (S/N) said.

"Let go swimmm!" You whined.

You guys walked through the soft sand and found a nice spot to put all your stuff.

You stripped off your clothing. Revealing a (favourite colour) bikini.

Niall took off his shirt and crossed his arms.

"Come on Niall! Let's get in the water!" You yelled.

He followed you into the water, keeping his arms crossed.

"You cold?" You asked.

"N-no, just insecure." He muttered.

"Niall, you are perfect. And there's nobody here you need to impress, because. You've already impressed me!" You explained.

Niall smiled and uncrossed his arms.

He grabbed you and kissed you softly.

"I love you Y/N."

"I love you too Niall!"

You smiled.

He let go of you and you dove under the water.

You resurfaced and looked over at him.

You splashed him. "Get farther in!"

He complied and came closer to you.

(S/N) and Sarah floated on inflatable tubes close to you guys, trying to stay dry.

You splashed in their direction, soaking them.

"I hate you Y/N!" You heard a voice exclaim.

You giggled.

As you were distracted, Niall tackled you from behind, taking you under water with him.

You two resurfaced together, laughing.

You guys spent hours in the water, splashing eachother and swimming around.

Your mom came down to the beach.

"Dinner time guys!" She called.

You guys got out of the water and dried off.

You slipped your clothes back on after you were totally dry.

You tried your best to dry your hair but it was still quite damp.

You helped (S/N) and Sarah carry their inflatable tubes back to the campsite and sat down at the picnic table for dinner.

"After dinner we're gonna have a fire over at Aunt Carol and Uncle Tom's." Your dad explained.

"Heck yeah!" You exclaimed.

"Bring a sweater over though, it'll get cooler in the evening." Your mom said.

She handed you a hotdog for dinner and you chowed down on it.

After dinner you grabbed a sweater and you guys went over to your Aunt and Uncle's trailer.

They were gathered around the fire already, camp chairs were set up all around it.

You took a seat in one of the camp chairs and slipped Niall's sweater over yourself.

"Hey Y/N!" You Aunt said as she cleaned up after their dinner.

"Hello Aunt Carol!" You called to her.

Your families greeted eachother happily and everyone sat down together.

"I don't believe we've met." Your Uncle said to Niall.

"I don't think so. I'm Niall! Y/N's boyfriend." He said with a smile.

"Nice to meet you Niall." Uncle Tom said, shaking Niall's hand.

Your family talked about random stuff, like family drama and all that jazz.

"Mom can Niall and I go on a walk?" You asked.

"Sure, just be back by 10:00 okay?" She said.

"Okay!"

You and Niall got up and walked over to the gate that lead to a boardwalk.

You walked hand in hand down the boardwalk, admiring the view of the sunset.

"Do you like my family?" You asked.

"Your Uncle is fucking hilarious!" Niall exclaimed.

"I know right!" You responded.

You two walked across the boardwalk until 10:00, then you returned to your family.

You guys spent the rest of the evening there until it was time to put fires out.

"We can all hang out tomorrow at the beach or something!" Your mom suggested as you guys go up to leave.

"Sounds great!" Your Aunt said.

"See you guys tomorrow." Uncle Tom said.

"Bye!" You all called.

You guys returned to your trailer and everyone got ready for bed.

You and Niall crawled into your shared bed.

You layed your head on his chest and he wrapped his arms around you.

You kissed his cheek softly before closing your eyes and drifting off to sleep.
