Sorry if I forgot someone. There are to many to people to remember. And sorry if Chilled's name isn't right, haven't watched him in a while.

P.s, the fourth character to Johns group is no YouTuber. Needed to make up a character. Also, I have never seen what John looks like irl, so please do forgive me if I describe someone else entirely.

~Your POV~

It's been probably about two months since they first caught me. During the first month, they tried to help me get comfortable with the change of scenery. They had said that until I was fully comfortable being in the presence of pirates, let alone humans, that they would keep others away from their home. Once the second month started, I had said that I was adjusted to being in my new environment. They had been happy to finally have other groups of pirates over to try and discuss peace treaties between their groups. And each time, they would leave the aquarium room doors open. Many times, the members of the crews who weren't captain or first mate would wander the castle with someone from the BBS. Since the BBS don't have a distinguished captain, it's usually changed between who works through the peace agreement.

But today, everyone was on edge. They apparently had a group of pirates that they had been enemies with longer then any other groups coming over to make an agreement with them. They also say that the members act on their own accord. They also have apparently gotten a new member that none of them know about. They were considering closing the doors to the aquarium room for them. They've had many deals where this specific group had managed to steal straight from their home. It surprised me when they admitted this, but I convinced them otherwise. I had told them that if I was in any danger, I could take care of my self. They still don't know that I'm half Siren yet. And I'm really hoping today won't be the day they find out. Craig was currently sitting on the ramp above my tank, while I was sitting on the rock wall. I could sense that he was uneasy.

"So, how big is this group if they have you guys so on edge?" I asked. Craig shook his head and softly smiled at me.

"They aren't." He answered. "With this new recruit, their only four large." I did a double take and made certain I had heard him correctly.

"Only four! Then why are you guys nervous about them?"

"Because we had killed off their original captain. They've hated us ever since and have been trying to exact revenge. But we're hoping that they'll agree to the treaty."

"If you killed their captain, then whose the captain now?"

"His name is John, but he goes by Kryoz. His first mate is Lucas, who goes by Smiity."

"And the third guy?"

"He's Adam, and goes by Chilled. The fourth guy none of us know, which is another factor as to why were so on edge. We have no idea what this guy is capable of." I thought about this group. Something popped into my head.

"Do you guys know the original three on a sort of friend level? Before you killed their captain, anyways."

"We did. We still weren't really the best around each other, but it was better then it is now. Before we became pirates, any of us, we all used to be childhood friends. When we did form our group, we had originally invited the three with us, but they declined. We still don't know why to this day." I nodded, taking in this information. So, that means that if they do wander into this room, I should be on my tail. There was a shout from the hallway when Lui came running in, laughing hysterically and asking for help. A pissed off Tyler came storming into the room. His shirt was soaking around the collar and chest area.

"Get back here you prick!" He yelled as Lui ran up the metal stairs towards Craig. He kneeled behind Craig and clutched onto his arm, still laughing.

"Help me." He said as Tyler bounded up the stairs. Craig rolled his eyes as I giggled.

"Let me guess, he poured water on you again." Craig said, pinching the bridge of his nose and pushing his glasses up on his face.

"Of course he did! And right before John and his crew get here too!" Tyler yelled. Craig scoffed.

"Tyler, it's still an hour before their supposed to arrive. You have enough time to change." Tyler grumbled before relunctantly storming back down the stairs and out of the room. I laid on my back as I stared up at the glass roof overhead. It had taken me a few weeks befor I noticed the roof wasn't stone, mainly since I had spent a lot of my time under water, seeing what kinds of fish species lived with me. The guys would bring me already dead fish every so often, but I would politely decline it. My Siren half made me enjoy living fish, so I had busied myself with seeing what good species there was.

"Are you certain your fine with the doors being open when they arrive? Even after we told you about them?" Lui asked after finally calming his laughter down. I waved a hand in the air before propping both under my head.

"I can take care of myself. Had to do it a lot back when I was in the ocean."

"Oh? And why was that?" Craig asked, turning back to me.

"Well.... it may or may not have to deal with my status in the Mer world." I said. Craig raised an eyebrow. "You see my tail colour?" I gestured down to my orange and black tail, a rare colour to find when born a Mer folk. Craig nodded. "Most Mer folk are born with the traditional colours. Shades of green, blue, brown, pink, even white and black. But it's rare for someone to be born with a tail a colour of something that's much brighter. Which, in my case, made me a sort of noble. And, of course, others were jealous, so they would always attempt to kill off noble Mer folk. That's also the reason why you guys originally found me where you did. I had decided to leave the city behind." Both Lui and Craig's eyes were wide with surprise.

"I didn't know that you guys had a heirarchy based on tail colours. That's really interesting." Lui mumbled. I shrugged.

"Kinda gets annoying. And is a little unfair."

"Why is it unfair?" Craig questioned.

"Well, there's a specific tail colour that, if your born with, immediately means that your next in line to rule. It doesn't matter if the current ruler has a heir or not, it only depends on the heirs tail colour. If someone else has the colour, the heir won't be given the throne."

"What if the heir and another have the same tail colour?"

"Then the throne will be passed onto the heir, unless the other challenges the heir for the throne." Craig mouthed wow, really interested in what I was telling him. He opened his mouth to ask another question when footsteps pounding on the floor caught our attention. Ryan burst into the room, panting. I sat up as the others stood. Once Ryan caught his breath, he stood up straight.

"Their ship was spotted about thirty-five minutes from docking. We need you guys to come down." He said, still a little winded.

"What!?" Lui squeaked in frustration and a little fear.

"But they weren't supposed to come for another hour," Craig mumbled, confused and sceptical. They hurried down the ramp and out of the room. I pushed back into the water and swam down to the cave that I claimed to stay in during the night. Lying on the sandy floor, I let my thoughts drift to what this other group of pirates must be like, and what they look like exactly.

~Time Skip of Epicness~

I'm not certain how long it's been since their ship docked, but I have yet to see or hear anyone come by. Which surprised me. It's only the captains and first mates who are allowed to be present while the treaty is signed. But I still have yet to see any life either then the fish in my tank. It made me think that the others were deliberately trying to keep the other two of the group from finding me. I was still confused as to why they didn't want this group of four knowing about me. If they attempted to hurt me, there was eleven of them here who could easily tear them to shreds.

I heard voices echoing in the halls just as I started humming, the fish having immediately started swimming in a sphere around me. Breaking my tune, the fish dispersed as four people entered the room. There was Marcel and David, walking in front of two other people. One of them had curly, dark brunette hair, and by the looks of it, dark brown eyes. There was a red bandana wrapped around his head with an 'M' embroidered into it. I heard the nearly muffled sound of a name, and it sounded like Marcel said 'Chilled'. The brunette nodded, so I assumed that he must be Adam. His skin wasn't pale, but it wasn't dark either. He wore a black shirt that had a white lace at the collar. He had on white trousers and black polished boots.

Which meant that the other unknown stranger was their new recruit. He had black hair laced with auburn. It was spiked at the top, while some pieces by his forehead were spiked down. He had stormy grey eyes. Like Adam, his skin was pale, but definitely paler. He had on a red and yellow bandana that was tied around his neck. A white shirt was covered by a navy blue blazer so dark, it appeared black. The two looked like they never let the sun touch their skin. I swam to the edge of the glass that acted as a barrier and watched as they approached. My movement caught their attention and they looked up. Chilled squinted at me, while the other male stopped completely, either amazed or surprised at my being here. He leaned into Chilled and whispered something to him, making Chilled's eyes widen in surprise. Marcel and David caught them staring and looked to see me there.

David pointed upwards and I nodded. They led them towards the stairs at the back of the tank as I swam to the rock wall, pulling myself onto it just as they reached the top. I spun myself so that I could stare straight up at the ramp where the others were standing.

"Hey (Y/N)." Marcel said. I gave a little wave as Marcel gave introductions. So I was right at assuming the brunette was Chilled, and it turns out that the black haired fellows name was Jack, or as he liked to go by Pyro. His alias was a question to me. Chilled asked Marcel and David questions about me as the Jack fellow examined me from head to tail. His eyes mainly strayed to my tail, and I was beginning to wonder what was going through his head as an evil grin spread across his face. He turned to Marcel and David then.

"Can he morph his tail like other Merfolk?" He asked. The question struck me. As half Siren, I would always assume that's why I was never able to willingly change my tail to legs, but at the same time, I wasn't certain. Marcel and David were taken back by the question.

"Not tat we've seen him do." David answered. They never asked about it, so I had originally thought they didn't know about me being able to morph. Now I don't know. Chilled made a tsk sound, almost as if he was really upset with it. No clue why though. Jack and Chilled got bored soon, and then they were moving out of the room. Jack looked back once more to study me before turning and leaving with the others. I really didnt like that guy.

~Time Skip of Incredible Power~

It's probably been over an hour by now. I don't think that the other group of pirates have left yet, since no ones come back inside. I was just sitting inside my cave, playing with some of the fish. It was perfectly silent. That was, until the sound of a hand slapping the water broke the silence. I looked up and saw a hand under the surface of the water, but I couldn't see who it belonged to. Unfurling my tail, I quickly swam up to the rock wall. Once my head broke the surface, I was immediately spun around, an arm hooking under my arms and covering my mouth as a knife went to my throat. A sadists chuckle was breathed into my ear.

"Their complete idiots to leave such a high ranking merman without a kind of guard." Came Jacks voice, no more then a whisper. "It's hard too choose what to do with you, though." Fear spread through me as I tilted my head back, him bringing the knife closer to my throat. "Should I kill you, or should we bring you back as a trophy of our own?" Another chuckle. I had to do something. But the fear coursing through me made it near impossible to think. He started dragging me out of the water. His thumb brushed against my lip.

"But I do know I'll be having a lot of fun with you." My fear was replaced with anger, and something in me changed. Well, maybe somethings out of me as well. I bared my teeth, my tongue running over sharp teeth, the exact same as a sharks. He paused dragging me then, as my fingers, out of his line of view, became webbed. Black fins sprouted out of my arms, above my elbow. Catching my reflection in the water, I saw that my eyes had become black orbs. It seemed like everything was the pupil. My ears had also changed, becoming longer and webbed.

"What th-" Jack didn't get to finish when a scream erupted from my throat. It wasn't a normal scream. It was the scream of a Siren. Everything in the mans grip was released, his hands clutching for his ears as my scream rung through the castle, definitely being heard through the entire stone structure. once I stopped, I didn't give him time before I spun around, my tail hitting him in his temple, and sending him flying into the water. He was now in my territory. With ease, I- no, whatever instinct was controlling me, whatever creature I had become, slipped back into the water. I allowed the fin on my back the cut the water as I slowly circled Jack, letting him reorient himself. Once he realized what happened, he started to panic.

He tried to swim back for the rock wall, but I bit into his leg with my fangs. A cry of pain left his mouth before I dragged him under. Whatever It was that had taken control dragged him further from the wall, where I released him, allowing him to kick back up to the surface. I could hear him gasping for air, trying to favourite his uninjured leg. I was playing with him, making his last few moments absolutely terrifying. And I loved it. I realized that I took on my Siren form, something I had thought about when before I was captured. I had to have some resemblance to a Siren some way, and I guess transforming like this is one way I will resemble. People came bursting into the room. Everyone was here. I hissed at them. They all stood, shocked, and I noticed the two new people who joined them.

One had dark, incredibly short hair. He had spruce eyes, almost the same as Brian's. His skin was definitely a lot more tanned then Chilled and Jacks. He had on a red top that was open at the chest, a pair of blue trousers and black boots. There was a pure look of horror on his face.

The other new guy had long blonde hair done up in a high ponytail, with a few pieces hanging forward. He has light brown eyes. His skin colour is probably a mix between Chilled and the other guys. He had a white shirt on with a blue trench coat over top. A pair of black trousers were tucked into black boots that folded down at the top. He had a horrified and angry look on his face. He opened his mouth, and I heard a muffled 'Jack' come from his lips. I started circling Jack once more. Feeling a little bored with toying with him, I broke the surface next to him and bit into his neck. There was muffled screaming as I dragged his body under the water. Hands went for my head, but just as quickly went limp. I could taste the blood seeping from the teeth wounds in his neck as I waited for his final breath to escape his lips.

The pulse against my lips stopped. With a satisfied hum, the thing that took over unclenched my teeth from around Jacks neck, and I could feel it's satasfaction as it watched his body float back to the surface. Then everything was changing again. The fins on my arms disappeared back into my skin, as my webbed fingers turned back to normal. Touching my finger to my teeth, I found they were no longer like a sharks. My ears were no longer webbed as well, and I assumed that my eyes went back to my normal (E/C). What I felt matched the looks on the others faces. I was horrified with what just happened. I didn't kill that man. A Siren did. And if I could change like that, then were the others safe? The man in the blue trench coat ran to the steps to my tank as I sunk to the bottom, my hands to my mouth. Even though it wasn't me who killed him, it was my body that was used. If I wasn't under the water right now, I would have had tears running down my cheeks. I felt like puking, the taste of blood still strong in my mouth. Something glinting in the sunlight caught my eye, and I spotted his knife sitting on the bottom of the tank.

I swam to it and plucked it carefully into my hands. My horror quickly turned into anger once again. I don't know if he was assigned to kidnap me, or if it was of his own accord, like the others say they do. I had the wanting to go and stick the knife into his head, but looking up and seeing the amount of blood coming from his body had me thinking otherwise. Then, the body was being dragged across the waters surface. Soon, the body was no longer in my tank. Then the man in the trench coat returned to the others, carrying the body. He started yelling at the others. Luke stepped forward and tried to reason with him, but it only put him into more of a hysterical state. Next thing I know, a guns being pointed in my direction, then fired. I swam out of the way as the bullet broke the glass.

Water started leaking out, and, to my horror, the glass started to crack more. Everyone stumbled back as the tank continued to crack. Someone was yelling for them to get out of the room. Everyone bolted out the door just as the glass wall shattered, all the water in the tank flowing out, with me and the fish included. I was being spun in every direction, until I was disoriented to what I would of thought was no return. My back slammed into a hard surface, and I was being pushed further out. The water spilled out into the hallway, and I remained still as my senses came back to me. Slowly, I pushed myself on to my elbows. Only for a foot on my chest to shove me back down to the ground. Grappling onto the boot on my chest, I stared at the gun that was being pointed at my head.

"You bastard." Came trench coats voice. I swallowed, realizing that Jacks motives must of been his own, not an order. "You killed him. And now, I'm going to kill you." The old rule. A life for a life. He cocked the gun, about to fire when someone came crashing into him, knocking the gun from his hand and restraining him to the ground.

"That's enough Kryoz!" Evan yelled. Someone picked me up, and I clutched my hands to my chest, the knife still in my grip. I stared down at the captain, his shoulder and the right side of his trench coat were soaked with water and blood. Someone stepped into my path of view, and I looked up to see Brock standing in front of me. He looked down to my hands, then held out his. I willingly handed over the knife. He turned back around.

"Enough? Enough?! Your pet just killed our newest member, and your saying enough?!" He screamed back. Brock stepped forwards.

"Just think for a second Kryoz. What would your newest member even be doing within area for (Y/N) to drag him into the tank?" Asked Brock, showing the knife that I had given him to the others. "What would your newest member even be doing wandering our halls without a guide? And why would there have been a knife in our 'pets' hands, when no one else would have dropped one into the water?" This made Kryoz stop. He looked at the knife in Brocks hands.

"Are you saying that he tried to kill him?" Kryoz spat back. "When he knew we were coming here to sign a peace treaty." He was still pissed, but seeing the evidence provided, it died off a little. A cough had us all turning to look at Chilled, who was standing beside who I matched to be Smiity.

"Actually John, when we first walked into the room with the Mer, he immediately pointed out to me that this one here is a noble." He started, motioning to me. "He then said that 'he shouldn't be in the hands of such an incapable group'." He admitted. Kryoz stopped entirely at that. Evan released him, and he slowly sat up, running his hand over his face.

"He is such an idiot. To nearly ruin a peace treaty that we had finally agreed too, just for a noble merman." I smelled blood, and looked over Jonathan's shoulder to find Jacks body lying on the floor. Blood was still running from his wounds. "Hold on." My head snapped back to Kryoz as he looked up at me. "He wasn't a merman a few moments ago. What the hell happened?" Everyone looked to me. I swallowed the limp in my throat, as they waited for an answer.

"I may or may not have changed into.... a Siren?" I said quietly. Everyone stopped and stared, and Jonathan nearly dropped me. He probably would have if I hadn't let out a scared click when I felt myself slipping.

"Your.... a Siren?" Smiity asked. I shook my head.

"Not fully. I'm only half Siren, but my Mer side is more dominant. In all honesty, that's the first time that has ever happened to me." They still seemed shocked.

"But, how is that possible?" Craig asked, running a hand through his hair.

"Let's just say, it started with a war." I answered. Luke shook his head.

"Doesn't matter right now. We did what was needed to be done. The treaty does hold, right?" He asked. Kryoz nodded. "Then we needn't worry about it. We will just need to clean up, fix (Y/N)'s tank, and everything will be fine. But, for now, I think you guys should worry with the body." He gestured to Jack, and Kryoz nodded.

"We will be on our way. I'm sorry for any trouble that Jack had caused. I'll try to instil more discipline with future crew members." With that, Kryoz stood, walked over and picked up Jacks body, and left with Smitty and Chilled. I looked back at my destroyed tank, and wondered how long it would take to fix and refill.

"Well, you will definitely have a story to tell us in the future (Y/N). For now, where will we keep you..." Craig turned to me, his face bright with an idea.

"Your tail." He said. "Can you morph your tail?" I shook my head.

"If I can, I can't do it willingly. I've tried before. I think my Siren half took that ability away from me." Craig's face dropped.

"Well, then we'll just have to think of something else." Well, I really hope it's somewhere comfortable.
