Harry's P.O.V

I sat by El's bed holding her hand. She was lifeless. Her eyes had'nt opened in two days and her face was pale. I stroked her hand. She looked so weak. I started to sing softly to her.

Settle down with me

Cover me up, cuddle me in

Lie down with me

and hold me in your arms

and your hearts against my chest, your lips pressed to my neck

I'm falling for you eyes but they don't know me yet.

I thought of the very first time I met El. The way she was pretending to be asleep on the bench, the way her eyes sparkled in the moonlight and the way she spoke to me as Harry Styles the person and not just Harry Styles the celebrity.

And with this feeling of forget, I'm in love now

I remembered our first kiss. The Way our lips crushed together as I held her in my arms. The way she leaned her head against my chest and snuggled close to me.

I thought about the way the woman in the shop had a go at us and the way I stood up for El. I loved the way we laughed about it later and the way she looked at me when she smiled. The way that when she smiled, her deep blue eyes did too.

I was made to keep you body warm

but I'm cold as the wind blows so hold me in your arms.

I remembered the cold nights where me and El walked home together hand in hand and I'd give her my jacket to keep her warm.

My heart's against your chest

Your lips pressed to my neck

I remembered when me and El spent the night together in the cinema room. The way our lips and bodies worked together. I remembered the way she'd snuggled up to me when it was over and fell asleep in my arms.  Then I thought about all of the times I'd comforted her when she woke up crying in the night. I thought about every night I'd stayed with her to make her feel safe. I thought about the time she had opened up to me and the very first time she'd told me that she loved me.

Her heartbeat was dropping. I held her hand tighter and it stopped. Her heart had stopped beating. I felt a tear roll down my cheek as I put my lips close to her ear.

"Please El, You need to wake up. I need you to wake up" I whispered into her ear. I rested my head and arms on the bed and started to cry. It was'nt fair, El had been through so much and she was so young. I wiped away the tears and stood up. I kissed her lightly on her forehead. "I love you El".

Her heart beat started to pick up rapidly. I sat on the bed and held her hand. Her eyelids swung open.

Elli's P.O.V

I looked around the room. My head was spinning and I could barely keep my eyes open. Harry was sat on the bed next to me.

"Harry!" I said wrapping my good arm around him. He pulled me into a tight hug and I flinched slightly. I was still in pain when I moved but it did'nt matter. Harry was with me now and I just wanted to feel safe and in his arms again.

"El your awake!" he said kissing me on the lips. "I thought you'd never wake up". What did he mean 'never wake up'? I was only asleep for a few hours, waas'nt I?

"Harry I love you" I said as I started to let a few tears fall from my eyes.

"I love you too El" he stroked my cheek.  I suddenly thought of what had happened it all came flooding back to me.

"He's here Harry". My voice was shaking. "He's found me". I buried my head in his chest. I felt myself breathing heavier to try and calm myself down.

"Shhh, it's okay. Everything will be okay". He ran his fingers through my hair.

"Harry, it's Taylor. He found me. He did this to me" I continued. Harry did'nt answer. I looked up at his face. He pulled me closer to him. "When the doctor said I had a visitor it was'nt Liam and Niall. It was Taylor. He wanted me to go with him Harry. I would'nt go though. I could'nt leave, I could'nt leave you". My voice sounded panicky.

"Don't worry El. I'm never going to leave you out of my sight again" he finally said.  "I'm never going to let anyone hurt you again El".

I could'nt help myself. I started to cry. "I want to go home Harry". I rested my head on his shoulder. He rubbed circles in my hand and kissed my forehead.

"I promise you El, that I'll take you home as soon as I can". He stroked my hair. I wiped away my tears and smiled at him. "Okay?" he said. I nodded.

The door swung open and Louis, Liam, Niall and Zayn walked into the room. They saw me and ran towards the bed. Harry

"El your awake!" Niall said. He gave me a hug then handed me a small shopping bag. It was full of chocolates and sweets. "In case you get hungry" he said.

"How are you feeling?" Zayn asked.

"Not great, was I asleep for long? Sorry, I can be a bit of a heavy sleeper sometimes" I said blushing slightly.

"You were unconscious for two days" Liam said. Really?

"You scared us, especially Harry. Look!" Louis said pointing to my bedside table. There were all of the boys dolls and some cards on top off it. "We wanted to make sure that you we were with you the whole time, even when we could'nt be".

"Well except for Harry. He never left your side" Zayn added. I looked over at Harry and smiled.

"Thankyou" I said to them. The boys stayed until ten o'clock at night when the doctors said they needed to leave, except for Harry and Liam.

"Harry, why don't you go and get yourself a coffee or something? You must be tired by now" Liam said. He then turned to face me "He refused to sleep or leave the room until you woke up". Harry looked at me. I could tell he wanted to go and get a drink but he did'nt want to leave me.  I gave him a smile.

"You should go Harry. I'll be fine honestly". Harry kissed my forehead before walking out of the room.

"El, I've been thinking a lot lately and...well, you don't have any family right?". What?! Where did that come from? He new I was an orphan so why ask me?

"I've got Harry and you and the boys" I replied knitting my eyebrows together.

"I know but, you don't have a mother or a father, right?". I nodded my head. Where was he going with this? "I was thinking that, I could understand if you did'nt want to but... I asked my parents and they said that if you wanted to, they could adopt you".

What?! Some body actually wanted to adopt me? Would'nt that make me Liam's sister? What if they don't like me though? I might be a burden on them like I was to my previous foster parents.

"I could understand if you did'nt want to El. It was just an idea..."

"Liam I'd love to!" I said wrapping my arm around him and hugging him tightly. Harry walked in carrying three drinks.

"I take it he told you then?" he asked smiling. I nodded and let go of Liam.

"I've got to go home now, but I'll be back tomorrow".

"Bye" I said with a massive smile on my face. Harry sat down next to me on the bed and I buried my head in his chest. He started to play with my hair.

"I can't believe it Haz. I'm actually going to be part of someone's family!".

"Your already part of my family though El" he told me, chuckling slightly. He stroked my cheek. "You should get some rest now babe". I nodded my head and closed my eyes. I could'nt sleep so I just listened to Harry's perfect heartbeat as he played with my hair.
