Am I out of time?

Harry's P.O.V

I searched my pockets for my keys. Once again my searching had got me nowhere. I was as close to finding him now as I had been a month ago. I had no idea where I was looking, I just sort of went where ever I felt like going.

I could'nt find my keys and gave up looking. I raised my hand to knock on the door. Louis had probably got back from seeing Amy.

What was up with those two anyway? He clearly liked her...alot. I swear if Louis did'nt make a move soon I was just going to tell her myself that he liked her.

I let out a small chuckle as I thought of what Louis' face would be like. His face would probably be bright red like a tomato with embarrassment. It would probably be really funny too look at actually.

I played with the idea of telling Amy just to see the look on Lou's face. I'd never seen Lou fall for a girl so hard. No. I probably should let him make his move in his own time. But if it takes any longer, I'll give him a nudge and hurry things along.

I was about to knock on the door when it flung open. Louis was stood there. His face red with anger and his hands clenched into fists. Amy was  behind him, she looked like she'd been crying.

I took a deep breath as i took in the atmosphere around me. Louis looked at me and his eyes were like daggers. His hair was a tangled mess. I'd never really seen Louis like this before.

"What's going on?" I asked. Hopefully someone would tell me something. This was'nt normal at all.

"Have you watched it Harry?" Louis asked before taking a deep breath.

What? Watched what? I had no idea what he was... the film.

"Yes". A sigh escaped my lips and my head turned to face the floor.

"Why did'nt you say? What was going on? Have you spoken to El?". Louis voice sounded urgent and slightly panicked.

What was I supposed to say? i racked my brain to see if I could come up with something. Anything. I just needed a story to convince him. Get him to leave the whole subject alone.

I could'nt though.As hard as I tried though, nothing. Was I supposed to tell him the truth? This was bad. I'd never lied to Lou about anything other than this.

"I could'nt say Louis. El did'nt want me to say anything. I wanted to, believe me I did but I'd promised El".

"But Harry, I'm your best friend". I could hear the hurt in his voice and I could'nt bare it. I felt awful for lying to Louis.

He was right. He was my best friend and it hurt me so much to know how upset he must have been.

"I know Lou and I was desperate to tell you but it was'nt my place to".

"Now that I've seen that, you might as well tell me"

"I can only tell you some parts of the story. You can't tell El though". Louis nodded his head. "Before we knew El, she had a boyfriend. His name was Taylor". I saw Louis expression turn to confused.

"The guy in the video" Amy said. Her voice was barely a whisper and I could hardly hear her. In fact, I'd forgoten she was there. I looked at her and nodded my head.

"It was'nt...was'nt a...normal relationship". Louis knitted his eyebrows together. "Taylor was violent. He'd beat El. She's been given countless bruises and broken bones by him".

I felt my body tremble with rage as the image of the video crossed my mind. I took a deep breath, before continuing.

"The night I'd found El, was the night she'd left him. I won't go into anymore detail than that because I've told you too much already. Anyway, El's staying at Liam's at the moment because he's looking for her. I've been looking for him, but it's impossible".
