Elli's P.O.V

I sat perfectly still. Harry was looking straight into my eyes and I was looking straight back into his. He was perfectly still too. I felt like I should say something to him. Give him some sort of explanation as to what was going on, but I could'nt.

"Harry, I told you she needed rest" Danielle said standing up. she seemed really annoyed with him.

"I..I...I needed to see you" he said to me. I smiled weakly. I looked over at Danielle.

"Two minutes?" I asked. She nodded her head and turned to face me.

"Two minutes" she repeated. I grabbed Harry check shirt that was on the chair next to me and pulled it over me. Even this small movement caused me pain. I took in a deep breath before swinging my legs of the edge of the bed.

Harry walked over to me. His shirt was too big for me, but it had his scent on it, which gave me comfort. It was silent. he sat down on the bed next to me.

"How are you?" he asked, not facing me. his eyes were focused on the floor.

"I'm fine...Did you hear...?"

"No...no". I nodded my head. he still did'nt face me. I stood up on my feet. I was weak and could hardly stand. He instantly looked up at me.

"El, what are you...". I looked down at him. He immediately stood up and wrapped his arms around me.

"I...I...". I did'nt know why I was standing up.

"Come here" he said, pulling me into a hug. I put my hands and head on his chest. I took a sharp breath in pain.

"Sorry" he apologised.

"Don't be". For once, I felt safe. Harry held me in his warm, muscular arms. His grip was slightly looser than normal. he obviously knew I was in pain.

"I should have been there to protect you El" he whispered.

"No. I went with Jake that night. It was me who caused all of this". The look of sorrow on his face changed to a very serious look. He pulled my chin up so my eyes met his gaze.

"Don't ever let me hear you say that again". He moved his hand back around my waist and I Lent my head against his chest. I felt the tears swelling up in my eyes.

I must have hurt him so much. I'd brought Taylor and Jake and all the bad stuff that came with them into his life. It was all my fault.

"What happened to you in there El?" he asked.

"I...I...I". As I was about to answer Danielle walked into the room. I did'nt want to tell Harry. I did'nt want to hurt him even more. Danielle's arrival had given me a reason not to  have to say.

"Time's up" she said, standing in the doorway. Harry looked down at me and rested his head against my forehead.

"I'll be right here when you wake up" he said.

"Harry...I don't want you to go..." I begged. I closed my eyes and held him tighter.

"You need to rest babe. I'll be here when you wake up, I promise" he whispered. He placed a kiss on my forehead, before releasing me for his arms.

I tried my best to hold on but I was so weak. He left the room but before he went, he turned around and gave me a smile before walking out. I smiled back.

"Let's get you back in be hunny" Danielle said before helping me cross the room back to my bed.
