"Okay, so what do we need?" I pull out a pad and pen from my purse and lean against the bar of the shopping car.
"Condoms." Harry says under his breath and close to my ear, his arm wrapping around my waist and I squeal.
"Yes..." I blush, "definitely those."
"And I want cream puffs, and fruit loops... Oh and lucky charms, and... chocolate chip eggos..." He kisses my cheek, "some good liquor."
"Can we be serious for a minute?" I say while trying to hold back giggles, scratching down the odd item. "So cream puffs, froot loops... What else?"
"Condoms." Harry whispers in my ear and places a light kiss.
I try to push away but he just follows my moves. "Yeah, okay, got that." I laugh.
"Let's get kabobs, and maybe like some cupcakes, I don't know, whatever your little heart desires." He kisses my cheek again and then I stop and he pulls my chin, and kissing me gently.
I laugh against his lips, a vibration echoing to him. I start filing down aisles and I swear Harry is crazy clued to my hip. Every move I make, he makes. It was a good thing that this place was dead, and we may have been the only customers there. I find the cereal aisle with no help from Harry and I push away from the cart, grabbing a box of froot loops and lucky charms. Harry pulls me back into him by my hips and kisses my neck. "Thanks babe."
I try to keep going. Weaselling my way down aisles and I fill the cart, with mainly junk food. After all, this was my birthday week, and I was to get exactly what I wanted. So far I have sugary cereal and Nutella, cinnamon spread and eggos. Ice cream and fudgicals (yes even in the winter). I add chips and salsa and then we start getting food that may actually be suitable for our stomach.
Harry's hand grasps my behind and I take a dead stop to look at him. The look on his face is nothing but seduction and I have to look away before my heart drops to my stomach. "Harry, I swear, you're such a feen."
"I just wanna give my baby what she wants." He chuckles squeezing my waist again and I blush, rolling my eyes.
"Oh yeah? And what exactly does baby want?" Harry stops the cart and leans in to kiss me. He has me pinned in the aisle of what I believe was sweets and I push him off. I fall back against the shelving. His lips pry and mine and I go limp. He pushes against me and I can feel Harry start to heat up under my fingertips. "Babe." I moan and his lips make a smooth entrance to my neck and I take a deep breath. His hand snakes around my waist, and he grabs my behind. "Harrrrrrrr." I whine and I have to push him off of me. "We're in a public place!" I hush him and grab the cart, beginning again on my quest of finding dinner.
I swear, I don't know how it happened, something Harry pressured me in, but now I'm sitting in the cart, crossed legs, grasping to the side of the metal trolley. Harry rushes down the aisle and we've caught enough speed that I definitely have wind in my hair as I let out a squeal and release my hands, throwing them up in the air.
I catch a glimpse of one of the clerks with widened eyes and I let out a laugh, grabbing on to Harry's hands pleading him to stop. But with the smile on his face and the echoing laughter coming from me, I really don't think he heard me. "Harry!" I laugh out again, "stop!!!"
The cart comes to a halt and I try to collect my breath from laughing so hard. We had been rushing around the store for I don't even know how long. "Ahem." A voice catches me and I look behind the cart. An older lady stands straight, arms cross and a stern look on her face. My heart stops. "It would be much appreciated if you could take your things through checkout and a clerk will escort you out."
"Excuse me?" Harry chokes out and I look back at him. A pathetic smile plastered on his face.
"Excuse you!" She agreed. "Young Mr. I know your aunt. And I'm not afraid to tell her how immature, disrespectful and LOUD you've been. If you act like that here, who knows how you act at the cabin."
"He acts great, actually." I mutter and I hear Harry laugh snakily behind me.
I look from Harry to the lady and swallow hard. "How I... We.... Act at the cabin is none of your business. I'll take my things and be leaving."
"Good." She spits.
"Taylor, get out of the cart..." Harry calls and I freeze looking at the near ancient lady. The wrinkles in her face are more like rivers on a map. "Taylor!"
I snap, and jump from the cart, feeling like a child getting sent to the principals office. Harry and I check out and leave the grocery store. My face is hot with embarrassment. Harry loads up the ranger and I sit cross legged in the front see. Harry jumps in and looks at me. "Hey," he nudges me but I just stare straight ahead.
"Hey."
"Smile!" He nudges me again.
I look over, and with all my might I try to keep a straight face. But a smile escapes looking at the dimpled grin Harry wears so nicely. His eye twitches and I burst out with laughter, then he does too. There's nothing to truly be laughing about, especially the kind of laughter we're creating. The hold your stomach because it hurts so much kinda laughter. There's not rhyme or reason. Just love. And honestly, I think that's all I need.
