Rachel's POV

It was Christmas Eve morning, I got up early took a long hot shower and took out 3 dresses deciding which to wear over at Damien's for our annual Christmas Eve breakfast with his parents.

I was quite happy; my mother left last week on a business trip so no one was going to annoy me or mess up today.

Knock knock

"Come in"

Ricky came in holding 2 shirts in his hands. "Pick one" he said avoiding my eyes.

"Depends. Where are you going?"

He sighed before looking at me, "I met a girl, now would you please pick one"

"Sure. But you have to help me pick one of these dresses. Ok well that orange shirt sucks but the green one says I'm handsome and very interesting. Now pick one of these dresses please"

"The red one. It's Christmas after all" he said before leaving.

(AN red dress to the top)

In an hour I was about to leave so was Ricky. We stepped out our rooms at the same time to a surprise in front of us.

"Dad" I screamed running into his arms.

"Don't I get the same reaction" I look up to my mother at the end of the hallway.

Oh great!

Ricky and I looked at each other before walking over to give her a nice hug.

"I'll see you both when you get back" Dad said.

"Wait what, where are you two going I have the chefs doing an amazing breakfast for all of us" my mother said.

She had to be kidding me.

"They are going where they always go on Christmas Eve morning. Rachel goes by Damien and this boy child is going Paris to pick up girls"

"Hey you said you met a girl" I punched Ricky.

"Yup in Paris" Ricky said smiling like if he's love struck.

My dad and I laughed at him but my mother wasn't amused. She started complaining about the hard work the chefs were doing for us and how we can't leave which caused our father to start arguing with her telling her this is what we do every year.

"Why don't you two just enjoy a romantic breakfast with each other. It's been a while since you've done that" I said walking down the the stairs.

Ricky followed me down the stairs and we don't dare turn around to look at our mother's face. We both knew her face wasn't happy but neither of us cared.

"You ready for me to take you to the private plane?" Crissy asked Ricky as we made it down the stairs.

I smiled at them both as I made my way to my car.

Twenty minutes later

I sat on  Damien's bed wait for breakfast to be finished. He was wearing jeans and a red Polo shirt.

We either have a happy or tense Christmas breakfast however I can't explain our situation it was different, I didn't like it. It was as if we didn't really know what to say to each other.
"So are we still together or?" Damien asked staring into my eyes. More like staring into my soul.

"What?" That was literally the first word to come out of my mouth

"It's been a week since that conversation about getting married after graduation" he stated
