We just stared at each other for a few moments before my mom came.

"Anthony my dear. Oh the great boy that got away from my daughter" Oh great mom. Anthony smiled as he hugged my mom and I looked back at Damien who was staring at Anthony, only if looks could kill.

"You look amazing Mrs. Rich" he said after the longest hug ever. "Call me Felicia" she giggled. I cleared my throat and they both looked at me. Yup I need another drink I grab a red wine from a waiters tray as he walked by. But my mother took it out my hand and place it back on the tray.
"Do you know what the red wine would do to your dress if you spill it" she stared at me as if I'm stupid. Amazing she's more concern about me making a mess out of my dress than her under age daughter drinking. Ha the irony.

Anthony laughed and I wanted to punch him. I don't know why but I just wanted to. "You look the same" he said to me making me annoyed. "And you look as stupid as always" I whispered making Damien laugh but my mother wasn't amused so she slapped my arm.

"Still the same as well" Anthony smirked. "Oh trust me, she changed" Damien said wrapping his arm around my waist. "Oh I don't think she has. My daughter has a lot more to learn before she follow in my footsteps and become a fashion designer"

When did I ever said I wanted to be a fashion designer, I don't want to design clothes I want to be a veterinarian.

"Felicia why don't you leave our daughter alone let her go dance" I heard my father come up behind me. I smiled knowing I haven't seen him in weeks.

"Dad" I said about to jump on him but I felt a hand pull me back. "Your father is wearing white you don't want to get your make up on him do you" ok fuck this I'm drinking.

I walked away from them and found Ricky in a corner I took his drink from him straight pulled it and gave him back his glass. "Someone's planning on having a great time I see. I don't think mom would approve" he mumbled thinking I won't hear him

"Shut up" I sighed. I took a look around the room filled with strangers and family friends and some you could call frienemies to my mother. I kept searching the room, when I saw Scott staring at me.

"Babe" I turned around to see Damien holding two glasses of champagne. He handed me one and I took it happily. "Can we talk?" He asked. I looked at away from him and took a sip of my drink.

"Dude I think you're in trouble" I heard my brother whispered and I smiled to myself.

"I think we talked enough for the day, let's just enjoy the stupid gala" I said turning back to face him.

"I think this is a perfect gala" someone behind me said. So I turned around to look at them and then I knew I'm going to need something much stronger than wine. I'm going to need vodka, tequila, beer, even weed.

Oh my god, I'm being turned into an addict. You know what I'm going to make this my last drink. I looked at her again and thought maybe second last, then I looked across the room and saw Scott and thought oh fuck it.

"I need something stronger than this for tonight!" I whispered.

"Champagne. I know right people get tried of the same old things so they like to try new things" Ashley said rubbing her hands on her hips smiling at Damien.

I straight pulled my drink and handed the glass back to Damien taking his in return drank it and gave him back his empty glass before walking away from them. I walked up the stairs and walked out onto the balcony. I kicked off my shoes and sat down in a chair.

I looked up into the night sky. " I'm going to another party you care to join me" I turned around to see Scott by the doorway. I thought to myself why not. Come on I hate this gala, I don't like coming but my mom makes me.

I don't think this day can get any worse. Furthermore my life can't get any worse.

"Lead the way" I said putting my shoes on and raising from my seat.
