"You're seriously not going to tell me where we're going?" I asked for the fourth time. He shook his head and chuckled, letting his knuckles tighten its grip on the wheel, and loosened.

We've been driving for what felt like an eternity. I was starting to think he was going to push me off an abandoned bridge.

But of course, I was being totally ridiculous... right?

Liam finally pulled over in front of his office, Ryker and Co. I looked at him, my eyes laced with confusion.

"What, are you going to work late or some crap?! Because Ryker I will seriously kick your ass for this." I whisper-shouted.

The idiot sent fits of laughters that filled the whole car. After he calmed down, Liam looked at me seriously with a huge-ass smirk plastered on his gorgeous face. "You think I took you here, in my office - as a first date - that I'll be working late?" He took the keys off the ignition before speaking, "You are definitely something, Maddison Paige."

I rolled my eyes and started to open the door, but Liam beat me to it. "Me lady," he said in a very weird British accent while bowing, which made me giggle like a 5-year-old.

God, am I one smitten dork.

Liam led me inside the building. The lobby was the definition of vintage but elegant. A huge chandelier hung in the middle of the high ceilinged-room, and vases containing flowers were carefully placed above short pillars.

A voice snapped me out of my admiration of the lobby.

"Hey, Gina. Everything set?" Liam smiled at the woman behind the front desk. She looked like she was in her mid-40s, with a headset in her ear.

Gina flashed him a thumbs-up and smiled, wrinkles appearing in the corner of her eyes. "Yes sir, everything is ready. Have a good evening to both of you."

I smiled at her politely. Liam led me to the elevator and before he pressed any button, I felt a piece of cloth blocking my view.

"Umm.. w-what are you doing?" I stuttered.

"I'm feeding 10 cows." He said in a monotonous tone, but continued. "I want it to be a surprise, I spent a lot of time planning this, and I don't want to screw this up."

I could feel the blood rushing up to my cheeks, and a smile found its way to my lips.

The elevator finally stopped. Liam wrapped one arm around my waist, which kept me from falling flat on my face, and led me to wherever we were going.

He removed his arms from my waist, proceeding to remove the blindfold.

"Oh my God.." I murmured. The scene before me was breathtaking. We were on the rooftop of Liam's building, giving us a clear view of the New York City skyline. On one corner, there was a violinist, and from the piece he was playing, I could guess he was playing a beatiful rendition of A Thousand Years.
