i pictured you in clouds no hurricane could move. i smelled you in flowers that could not be plucked. i wrote you in ink that could not be erased. i felt you in the softness of new sheets that could not be replicated. i painted you in acrylics that could not be hidden. i swept you onto a canvas that no watercolor could drown.
i saw a home in you... little did i know, you did not see anything in me.
