we were mere seedlings when we met, so unsure and scared of the world, but refusing to show it.
we were tasteless and bland, colder than the dirt we grew on.
time snuck us up behind us and ripped you away.years later, we've aged, been refined and distilled with care.
we've grown sharp and bitter, no longer the watery beings we use to be.
yet, we are pure and new, ready for something else.ready for the new, ready for each other.
